Default TF2 Heavy Update Aug 19

http://steamgames.com/tf2/heavy/

I know there are a few people on here that played or still play this game. Honestly, I just got into it about a month ago, and play with some guys I know from work.

For such a simplistic looking game, there actually are a lot of interesting things that you can do in the game.

Anyway, there is a Heavy update next tuesday. So that will be 3 classes with unlocks, and they are adding a few new maps as well.

Yeah I heard it's like 7 new maps and a new game play style!

They're really doing tons of stuff with TF2, I'm glad too because it was getting a bit stale, though still lots of fun.

I can stop playing that damn Gold Rush map! I was getting tired of the game as well but this map breathed new life into TF2 for me. I unfortunatley don't really play the classes they have unlocks for now, glad that one I do play from time to time will.

Great game. Spent many an hour playing it. Now with new maps and gameplay, I'm going to be hooked for a while. Definatley one of the best games I have purchase for some time.

Hmmm, I might have to try this again. I have been loving the COD4 recently.

Great news. I lived off TFC for years, but I only played this one for a couple months till COD4 came out. It just wasn't a full game. So this will help for sure.

Anyone see the update for today? Badwater Basin is looking quite good.

The original Team Fortress modification for Quake was one of my favorites back in my PC gaming days. It, along with Quake itself, were the pioneers of the online-multiplayer FPS.

I have yet to try TF2, as I grew tired of the franchise when I got tired of PC gaming. To me it looks much the same as TF and TFC, but with some graphical updates. For those who did play the original TF and TFC, enlighten me if this is not totally the case.
