Can't bitch about the game if she's sleeping through it dreaming of what just went down with her man...

I wouldn’t say we ‘suffer’ on a very basic level our goal in life is too re-produce so when we are walking down the street (guy or girl) and we see an attractive stranger walking towards us we think to ourselves ‘I’d hit that’ because they look healthy and vibrant. We think that because they are healthy looking the will produce healthy kids for us.
It's in our genetics
Also agree with Trad if you can give it too her real good it won’t really matter what day, time, week, year, planet it is. She is going to be in a euphoric state for awhile.

Send him down Traj. As long as he thinks like you I don't care what he looks like!

I meant the "stereotype" thing more in terms of looking for an actual relationship. But yeah it's amazing how our brain chemistry just takes over when someone attractive walks by. It's all about "fecundity". Even though I've known intellectually from a young age that I can't have kids...I still do the oh what a cool dad he'd be thing. It's actually pretty sad.

Well if you're lucky, rube will do such a good job that him and his girl decide to experiment, and then you can get the sophmore effort (with extras...)

Blame Traj. If he'd just drink some crappy beer instead he wouldn't be like this. I'll take some Czech beer or a Guinness. Maybe we should start an alcohol thread...can only imagine how that would turn out!

Who is Traj? I mean, wouldn't Trad be more appropriate?
And I blame you, for being horny when I was only trying to help rube!

I've been with my wife for nearly 16 year, married for 8+. The past two wedding anniversaries - which falls the day before my sister's birthday - we have both completely forgotten about it and only realized a few days later or because said sister sent us an email mentioning the anniversary. I believe if asked, she would have no clue what day we "started going out", she might get as close as "early December". As a result, watching football on our anniversary would obviously be no big deal, she might even watch with me.
I must be the luckiest man alive.

rube, you have a good opportunity here. She says its fine for you to watch the game...so now you suck it up, and don't watch. Make plans and wow her and just blow the game off. She won't forget that you did that for her!
My wife and I celebrate both our wedding anniversary and our dating anniversary. I always scrambling because I have no idea what I should be doing for them, but I have to admit that I think its fun. I might be the odd man out here, but I do like spending time with my wife...so an excuse to go out for a nice dinner or go to a fun event is always great in my books.

Ah, yes, lettuce... the most erotic of the leafy green vegetables.
