That Uncharted: Drake's Fortune game looks really good. Is it a lot of fun to play? And is it a long or short game?

I was also looking at Call Of Duty 4, which looks awesome. The only thing that kind of puts me off is the fact that the single player mode is apparently really short. Does anyone know how much longer the single player mode in COD 3 is compared to COD 4?

Thanks again!
Uncharted is a ton of fun to play. I'm not sure exactly how long it is, but it progresses nicely. I'm still working on beating it, but its lasted me a few weeks.

COD4 is an amazing single player. If you don't want the mutliplayer, just rent it. You can beat in a weekend no problem. It's a ton of fun and has greatly replay value though!

I 2nd heavenly sword...that and uncharted have a real immersive quality to the cinematics and presentation. Uncharted is getting trophy support later in the month so hold off if that's your thing(im guessing not though).

Uncharted lasted me around 15 hours if I recall correctly. Heavenly sword was closer to 7-10. Both were wonderful.

Has anyone tried Lair for PS3? I've read mixed opinions on it. Since I was given a copy as a gift which I haven't opened yet, I was wondering.

Here's the jacket info:
"A Hero Must Rise from the Ashes
Take the reins of a battle-ready dragon and defend the Asylians against legions
of Mokai soldiers. As Rohn, you will change the destiny of a dying world.

Presented in High-Definition 1080p and TRUE 7.1 Surround Sound
Engage in Visceral Aerial and Ground Combat
Tilt and Snap the SIXAXIS Wireless Controller to control your dragon."

I've heard using the controller is either impossibly hard or if you master it, the first game to truly use the SIXAXIS feature properly.

Here's the weird thing. Number of players: 1 (online 1)
HUH? online vs. yourself?

I rented it from getgames.ca and just got it on Thursday. I haven't played a whole lot of it yet cause I've been playing Uncharted which was the other game I rented which I just finished today but from what I have played I'd say it's not bad but nothing spectacular but I've also only played the first chapter so maybe it gets better as the game goes on. But as far as controls go they definately are a bit tricky at first but I'm starting to get the hang of it.

There's also a bajillion awesome games on PS2... so if you didn't have one and have a backwards compatible PS3, you should look into that.

God of War 1 & 2 for PS2 were actually the first two games i bought after getting my PS3. I've played God of War more than I have MGS4 which I got with my PS3.
