Tablet and low prices in the same sentence? That's a first.

We use Toshiba's in the office, and they are pretty decent. The M700 is my favourite model, but it is pretty pricey.

We use Wacom tablets. I use the Intuos2 but our VFX department uses the Intuos3's. We have a 100 plus and rarely have problems. Not sure of the price...

All the artists at work use Wacom. Its pretty prevalent in the vfx industry.

Just so I'm clear... Is there a difference between a Tablet and a Tablet PC?

What I need is one with the monitor that swivels and touch capibilities with the pen for drop down menus etc... To build a report in front of a client.

Not sure why I can't just use a laptop and mouse but they want a 'tablet'

Thanks!

yes there is a big difference. A tablet is just a work surface that you can use like pen and paper where as a tablet PC is just a laptop with a touch screen that can do all the same tings as a tablet.

Yeah a tablet PC is basically a laptop with a touch screen rather than a keyboard.

What you might want is something like the Thinkpad X Series Tablet.. works as a laptop or a tablet.
