Again - if you see a rating that you think is really wacky - you can let me know. Just make sure you aren't whining.
And remember any player that has all 50s (their original rating) wasn't touched - you have to request a rating for such players.
What happens next?
You now have until next Friday by midnight MST to let us know which of your own UFAs you are signing. Send that to
cphlufa@yahoo.com. In your email include the player rating and that corresponding salary.
Friday is also the deadline for recalling players from the minors. After that they will be subject to this rule:
Any player waived to the AHL with an OV of 74 or greater, who is 23 or younger, must clear waivers upon re-entry to the CPHL.
Free agency will start Monday August 4th - we will post players in batches for bidding.
Starting Monday August 4th you may also send in offers for RFAs. Review the rules if you intend on making an offer sheet.
For your own RFAs please email us with your offer, and rationale. Include all the relevent detail - age, stats, rating, current contract. If you make us do the work you won't get a good deal. But at the same time don't hit us with paragraphs and paragraphs. Be convincing but concise.
And if you are asking for a paycut, don't lowball or your player will demand at least what they are making now.
