Pretty sure you could supply the commish with a list of potential picks if it looked like your pick would come on the weekend. I don't want to speak for Girly, but I'm pretty sure she's open to that.

Suggestions for other categories: black & white, short film, documentary, animated
Also, rather than both the 40s and 50s, how about a single pre-1960 category. I can actually think of more movies from the 30s than the 40s that I'd pick, and I'd likely be picking on reputation rather than something I've actually seen.

I'm in. Only caveat is that I will never be posting between 8-5 MST. Can't post from work, only watch. Stupid appropriate uses of technology rules. Anyways, as long as I can get my votes in after standard work hours or get passed on during those hours, I'm in. If that's asking too much, no worries, I'll be happy to watch.
