Love the Disney hockey logic.
In D2, a player also gets lassoed on the ice. The perpetrator got two minutes for ropin'.

So many movies...

Joe Dirt
The Waterboy

Independence Day
Deep Impact

The Warriors
Once were Warriors

Clan of the Cave Bear
Quest for Fire

Duel (Dennis Weaver)
The Gauntlet (Clint Eastwood)

I bet I brought back some old memories with those last two.

I like Western movies so some of my favorites are:
Quick and the Dead - Sharon Stone, Russel Crowe
American Outlaws - Colin Farrell just as he was about to make it big - oh and Ali Larter
Texa Rangers - James Van Der Beek and Usher, still it was good

I'm a sucker for movies that take place in the (somewhat) distant past like Braveheart. I'll also stop to watch Robin Hood and Dances With Wolves even though I kinda want to punch Kevin Costner's goofy face (heh).

Also Shawshank or any Back to the Future movie.

What else...

Pulp Fiction
A Time to Kill
My Cousin Vinny (she's just so hot in that movie)(especially when she talks about cars)
ummmm...

All of those movies I've probably seen 50x. Some more. I've probably seen Shawshank a few hundred times. And I still notice some detail that I've never noticed before almost every time.

HAHA! A very guilty pleasure. The scene where he and Luc start chatting in French kills me everytime.

I too enjoy british romantic - particularly those featuring Hugh Grant. About a Boy, Four Weddings, Notting Hill, etc - I dig them all. Though the best one by far is Love, Actually.

Other guilty pleasures:
- Karate Kid
- Neverending Story
- Labrynth
- Strange Days - did horrible at the boxs office but is a great sci-fi movie
- Maid in Manahattan (with J-Low)
- Bounce
- Jeremy Maguire
- King Arthur (remake with Clive Owen, widely slammed)

is that Jerry's less successful brother?

and 4x4, all of those ones short of Robin Hood (and maybe the Back to the Future sequels) are great movies, they don't count!

^^^ I dont think Jerry Macguire can be classified as a guilty pleasure. It did well with the critics and was a very good movie. I think guilty pleasures are movies that are terrible and you like...even though most other people hate it.

Mighty Ducks for sure

I dont know about that Van Damm penguins movie but I will definilty be downloading it.

Batman Forever. (I dont think its as bad as people think it is. Jim Carey as the Riddler is pure magic)

Top Gun. It's got a bad love scene, mostly unrealistic aviation situations, bad dialog, a bad plot, and a topless all-male game of beach volleyball to top it all off, but once I see the F-14's, I'm sucked in again....

Really guilty pleasure - I have the soundtrack even though I mostly hate 80's music.

Extremely guilty pleasure - I have the table top game made by FASA (and no, it doesn't have beach volleyball in it)

Really terrible admission that my councilor says is good for me - I bought the game off of ebay in a fit of nostalgia, after having lost my original copy years and years ago.

Top Gun is the movie I despise to love.

Thank you for listening.

I definitely do not feel guilty watching the topless volleyball scene.

Does Top Gun really fit in this category? I think it's actually a good flick.

I do think it's funny that a movie that seemed to be more targeted towards men, actually has more male skin than female skin. Not complaining, cause it's a rarity, but kinda odd.
