Boyz 'n The Hood

Not sure what the appeal is, but I love it.

I love the Resident Evil films, even though I know they are utter trash. Something about hot women that can kick zombie ass just overpowers all rational thought.

Maybe I can help un-blurr the line from Guilty and Un-Guilty pleasure using more of my Guilty Pleasure movies.

Not-Guilty: Star Wars - classic sci-fi, I'm a child of the 80s and grew up on this stuff.

Guilty: The Notebook - Sappy love story, but as a 28 year old male, the ending always gets me. Single tear.

Not-Guilty: 12 Angry Men - Black and white classic, there's no arguing here that it's one of the most brilliant movies ever made.

Guilty: Muppets From Space - Again, 28 year old male, but there's something about the Muppets that still makes me laugh. I'm sure my son and I will enjoy these together one day.

Does that make sense to everyone?

Major League 2 and 3 (1 is too good to be a guilty pleasure). Necessary Roughness.

Blazing Saddles isn't guilty, it's the greatest comedy of all time.

Boyz n the Hood is another movie that's just plain good.

All of the National Lampoon movies with Chevy Chase. I get a chuckle about Audrey and Rusty always round the same ago, but different actors are portraying them.

And of course, all of the other John Hughes movies especially, the Breakfast Club.

Eddie Murphy's Coming to America, the Golden Child and Harlem Nights. All three were panned, but I laugh my ass off when I watch them. His newer ones just don't cut it.

All the movies I bolded are great movies that you shouldn't feel guilty about. High Fidelity is my favorite movie.

For me, Bridget Jones Diary and The Mighty Ducks trilogy are the big guilty pleasures. I can quote all the Ducks movies endlessly.

Haha One night some friends and I had a few beers and watched D3. I unconsciously started saying lines from the movie before the actors. After awhile I glance over at my friends and they are all staring at me. It was awkward. That was a great time though, getting drunk and watching Charlie develop his defensive abilities. So bad, yet so good.

You just reminded me of something, last year while scrummaging around an old pawn shop, I find this VHS tape, it was an old break dancing movie that me and my buddies used to go watch at the movie theatre over and over, it's called "Break'in," those were the days, lol.

Isn't D3 the movie where someone gets kicked out of the game for "intent to injure" but the Icelandic player who two hand, above the head, axe chops Banks' arm with his stick, braking said arm, gets 2 mins for slashing?

Love the Disney hockey logic.
