It will be interesting to see what Keesha does and which "team" she floats towards now.

Decent episode.
However, this is one thing that bothers me sometimes about the show- during the Wed. night eviction episodes this year and last, there is always a lot of drama created by the editors in the editing room as to just how the votes might end up. Fine, I don't really have a problem with that if the vote ends up being so close.
But every couple weeks you have a situation like tonight's show where the vote goes 9-0 or whatever, so you know a bunch of stuff happened last minute, and everyone decided who was staying and who was going, and nobody wants to be left ostracized as the "lone voter." I presume if you watch the live feeds this is all explained, but for those of us who just tune in three nights a week and occasionally read a blog for an update, that's a little disappointing.
Add to that all the "inside joke" references Steven made during his speech and I feel a little left in the dark as to what's really going on in there.
Jessie/Michelle and Angie/Memphis better be on the lookout this week. If they think their alliance is still under wraps, they have another thing coming. And what an interesting HOH winner- Keesha winning means the dynamics of the house are really gonna change. If I was her, I would saddle up with Renny and Jerry, and make sure they are all on the same page vote-wise. The "strays" could really help her stay in the game, and shift the power back to the Libra/April/Ollie side of the house.

The vote never was close. Steven went to Jessie/Michelle/Memphis about putting Libra up as a replacement for Dan (not himself) as a lot of people in the house hate her (Jerry, Renny, Keesha, Jessie, Michelle, Memphis, Angie) but Michelle didn't want to be the one to change the nominations and have a target on her back so nothing really came of it. They were never going to vote Dan out in any scenario. The plan for about 2 minutes was to take him off the block and put Libra up vs Steven.
If Keesha was smart she'd put up Libra and Dan. She could tell Dan he is safe and the whole house hates Libra (well a lot of the house: Jessie, Memphis, Angie, Michelle, Jerry, Renny). She could tell everyone else she put up Dan because of his allegiance to Brian. Everyone would understand and Jessie's crew wouldn't vote Dan out because Jessie/Dan have a deal where they will help each other. Jerry/Renny/Jessie/Angie (Memphis and Michelle most likely too) for sure would vote Libra out. That's all she needs is 4 votes because Keesha breaks the tie if needed. Libra would go home and she wouldn't make any enemies that way. Keesha could let one of the other 4 take out the other alliance the week after. If one of Memphis' alliance won HOH next week Keesha wouldn't go up either. If she targeted Jessie/Memphis right now she'd be screwed next week when one of them win HOH. Dan is kind of just there although Jessie will take him for a ride and then discard him.
They just do the editing to create excitement.

Yeah, basically, everyone was kissing Keesha's ass as per usual when someone wins HoH. Keesha was contemplating putting up Libra, but decided that Angie was the better target considering Libra was in her supposed alliance but is aware that Libra will stab her in the back gievn the chance.
Food challenge, it was a group challenge, so everyone got a variety of food.
Before nominations, Jessie goes to the HoH room and tells Keesha to stay away from Angie, and target Libra, and put her up next to Dan to ensure that Libra goes. Jessie says his four will vote Libra out. Keesha pnders and puts up Angie and Jessie to Jessie's surprise. Jessie pretty much declared war on Keesha and pretty much guaranteed vicotry in the PoV.
Pretty good episode last night.

So, first thoughts on this season...
I've watched every single season and episode other than Big Brother 1, but isn't this the first time that the producers have been doing previews of the current show at the beginning of that show (right after the re-cap from the previous show)?
Also, I've been seeing people on slop eating things like pickles. I guess some foods are allowed? I wonder which ones.....
Steven: I really liked him; sad to see him go. He seemed like a sweet guy.
Renny: not as wacko before but she seems like she's killed off a few brain cells in her heydays.
Keesha: is smarter than she looks but seems to get agitated/upset quite easily. She lets other people bother her.
Brian: was a very interesting character; showed his cards too early. I would have liked to see him stay in the house a few more weeks to mix it up.
Libra: she's a decent looking woman but when those nostrils flare up..... it ain't pretty. I think she's definitely been painted as a bit of villain, when all she's done is been a little more annoying than the rest of them.
Angie: Unsure what to think about her. I'm waiting to comment further.
Michelle: She's okay, I guess, but for some reason she bugs me.
Ollie: Yhought he was playing well until he let the blonde get to him.
April: Are those real? Seriously?
Memphis: As many of you have said, he's playing the game pretty much perfectly. He may have to alter his strategy though if the rest of them figure out what he's doing.
Jerry: No offense but his voice is grating. I had to mute the veto competition when he hosted. He also seems a little on the senile side ....some of the things he says makes me think they should have an age limit for these types of competitions. I was worried for him with that nasty honey veto competition; he looked like he was going into cardiac arrest.
Jessie: Is hilarious. He keeps the game entertaining.
Dan: Meh.

As long as I can remeber they always do the recap then the opening credis and then another recap with peoples comments. I wish they would not do this cause it is such a waste of time to do two recaps. That and the one at the beginning they sometimes go back a few weeks or more and that is boring, if you do not know what happened a few weeks ago that is your problem.
From what I can recal the people on slop can have "condiments" so that would be pickles, olives, ketchup etc.
As for your comments on the players I agree with what you said. I keep waiting for that one thing that is going to shake things up, they keep saying that they are going to do stuff that is going to divide the house but nobody has the testicular fortitude to do it yet.

^ Yeah, they've always done the 2 recap thing, but they've never done actual previews of what is about to happen. I don't like seeing a little spoiler snippet.

Ollie and April drive me nuts. I am embarrassed for their respective families. For those that haven't been following the online feeds or reading the various blogs, these two have consummated their showmance 3 or 4 times now. I won't sully my already shaky reputation by linking to any of the blogs or youtube videos but let's just say there's some under blanket action out there. All you can see is four feet sticking out from under the covers with a bunch of weird noises and hushed words. Jerry recently busted them going at it so we'll see if anything comes of it.
Nooky in the BB house is nothing new. They never show it on the primetime CBS show or even really acknowledge it but it's there. Heck, lots of house guests bring condoms with them into the house and I wouldn't be surprised if BB would supply them too. The April and Ollie situation is a little different though. Based on what they seem to be saying under their breath, the OCD lady and the preacher's son are using the pull and pray method of birth control. We know how effective that can be.
Based on the above, we have the potential for television history here. The first child conceived during the filming of a reality tv series. Heck, the conception could even have been showed live to all those online feed subscribers and those at home with Showtime 2.
---
Everything in the house always seems to serve a purpose. Notice the centre of the memory wall this year. There is a screen displaying the Big Brother logo with what appears to be a key slot below it. I can't recall other seasons whether there was an extra key slot but I'm relatively certain there was a logo. Speculation on the blogs abounds as to what use that extra screen and key slot will serve.
---
Every year the show seems to have a twist. This year, however, the tag line seems to be that Big Brother is getting back to basics (read: no twist). Expect the unexpected, though, right? I'm sure the producers have something in their back pocket.
---
Crazy prediction: What if it's pregnancy drama? That would be really controversial and get all sorts of publicity. I'm not suggesting they're encouraging Ollie and April to procreate but I wouldn't say it's outside the realm of possibilities either. The centre photo could display a sonogram image of the showmance baby. Maybe the house guests will have an opportunity to vote on whether it stays or goes? I feel evil for having even typed that...

They just showed video of the Big Brother house during the earthquake. The poor houseguests who aren't from California looked really spooked. They didn't know what to do. I wonder if that makes it on the air.

Spoilers from tonight's show below in white.
Keesha won the POV and chose NOT to use it(after some houseguests wanted Libra up as the replacement) so Jessie/Angie stay on the block, 8 votes will be cast on Thursday and one of Jessie/Angie will be evicted. I actually agreed with Memphis in his fight with Jerry. Jerry calling Memphis a "womanizer" is hilarious considering on day 1 Jerry grabbed April's tits and Jerry is married. Nice one Jerry. Memphis is the best player in this game. If the house was smart, they'd vote Jessie out as he is a much better player then Angie is.

I hated Eric. He was a ######bag and I was so glad when he was voted out. Didn't like a lot of people that season. Dustin, Jameka, Amber, Eric were all ######bags IMO. Couldn't stand them.
