Flames group b Prospects day 3

GROUP B

FORWARDS

60 Mikael Backlund

I could just say see previous entries he was again in a league all by himself. I am telling you guys its hard not to get excited watching Mikael skate and make the plays he makes. He will be on the team very soon

57 Lance Bouma

Has been alright, not outstanding, has an good shot. I like his speed, show some bright spots with his puck control. Bouma has a lot of potential of becoming solid forward.

51. Chris Bruton

Chris has great speed, shows some potential. He made some really nice passes on the two on one’s drill. Still a few years away, but I see strong potential in him.

76 Jordon Fulton

Jordon had a great day, making some very good passes. I like his ability to think and react. He needs to build up, to become sturdier, right now I think he might be to easy to take off the puck.

47 Kyle Greentree

Kyle has been terrific this three days, his maturity level is above most of the players. Of course he is 25 years old. Right now I think we got a steal from Philly.

77 Marvin Aaron

Had a good day today, has a great shot. Marvin needs to work on his speed, and grow out some more. If memory serves me right I think he is going to school in the fall which will make him grow some more.

43 Daniel Ryder

Some of you thought I was wearing rose cover glasses with him. Well I thought today his speed shined. He is still a little rough around edges, but I see far more upside on him. I am really pulling for him.

Brett Sutter

Brett has the intensity of a Tasmanian Devil, I love his work ethic. His has excellent speed. His shot has improved and I think will continue to improve, has a heart of a leader.

J. D. Watt

He has the size, to match with anyone needs to us it more. I think he has the opportunity, of becoming a solid thorn in the sides of the opponents. J. D. is a great asset to any team.

DEFENSEMEN

54 Keith Aulie

Keith made some improvements especially on passing. Keith slipped a couple of times but in all fairness that could have been the ice. Needs to grow a little but has the potential of becoming a successful defenseman.

80 Alexander Dielert

I still love his puck handling skills, is very confident with the puck. Still a while away, because of his size, I wished he could come over and play in WHL. I truly am excited with his potential because of his offensive capability.

Matt Pelech

Matt had his best day of the camp. His passing skills were outstanding making stick to stick passes consistently. Matt was the best defensemen on this lot.

78 Ryan Wilson

Ryan was pretty good today, making I think a pretty good impression on the coaches. He is very good skater, and I still think his puck skills are above average.

35 Leland Irving

Can there be a word that would fit on how well Irving played today? He was outstanding especially with his stick. Leland has calmness of a vet never panicking and kept his focus at all times.

79 James Spratt

James Has been outstanding after the first day. James is quick as a cat great lateral movement from side to side.

Yikes ... He's 6 foot 6 and around 210 pounds, and you figure he needs to grow a little? You must like 'em big!
