Latest projections has it moving SW of the City towards Okotoks... and they now have 2 planes seeding it..

I know it's bad because we never wrap up at work before we get wet and today, we were out of there with only a couple drops falling as we got in our vehicles. To the NW of the city is looked very disgusting. Saw some wicked lightning in that direction on the way home.

Serious thunder and lightning not too far from where I live as I type this.

Upgraded to a WARNING for the city of calgary.. but the Best show seems to be heading south of the city.

At 2:00 P.m. A Line Of Strong Thunderstorms Is Observed On Radar From Crossfield To 30 Kilometres Southwest Of Bragg Creek. The Line Is Moving Southeastward At 30 Km/h And Will Affect Areas Near And In The City Of Calgary. Twoonie Size Hail Has Been Reported At Bragg Creek. Large Hail, Heavy Downpours And Strong Winds Are The Main Threat With These Storms. This Is A Warning That Severe Thunderstorms Are Imminent Or Occurring In These Regions. Remember That Some Severe Thunderstorms Produce Tornadoes. Listen For Updated Warnings. Note..a Summary Of All Warnings And Watches For Southern Alberta Is Available In The Wwcn15 Cwwg Bulletin Issued Immediately Following This Bulletin.

cochrane got annhilated, came on soo fast too we had to leave some of the equipment behind, and yes my truck does have a few dings from the hail.

Storms split again folks.... this is a werid one....

One system heading southeast towards high river... one heading for the SW up through the NE of the city

Looks like it split up and went north and south of Okotoks.

This one has the weather modification people all messed up... I haven't seen them seed in the wrong area so many times in 1 session..

I'm still hearing some banging and rumbling coming from the south and I'm in the NW. They'd likely drop the watch/warning if the storm was past. I don't think we are in the clear here even then, remember Sunday? lol

More to come for the city..

There is one BIG cell that is projected to be heading N-NE entering the city on the very SW corner.. it's not quite there yet.. bout 15 min away it seems... Looks like its gonna catch part of the SW and good part of the SE..

You can tell where they are seeding on the weathermod.com site. On the images the Strange green lines are the seeding path of the planes, and the white line is the second plane they send up..

So much for the split MG, rain and marble size hail as I type in Okotoks.
Lots of lightning as well.
