Actually, the worst kind of cookie is the one that women make themselves when they are on a diet and bring into the office. I assume they always bring them into the office because no one at home will eat them.
"They're organic barley straw and prune cookies... they contain no sugar, flour, eggs, or butter!"

I'm going to have to stick up for oatmeal here. I love them. Next to homemade oatmeal, Dad's are the next best thing.

This man speaks the truth. Just looking at a digestive makes me think of a cabbagy-smellin' room with an old dude serving tea and drooling on his cat.
On the other hand, homemade peanut butter cookies just make *me* drool. I would marry any woman who could make them like my ma does, no other qualifications necessary.

I actually like the chocolate covered digestive cookies. They're pretty yummy. But the regular ones are blah.

You are on the moon, Digestive cookies are delicious!!
I second the crappy sugar cookies that get decorated with that rock hard icing in bakeries. Yuck.
Dad's cookies dipped in milk are also delicious.

I agree that digestive cookies are awesome... so long as they're dipped in coffee, milk, or tea. I actually love that texture.

Oh hell yes. I bring a box of those thing back every time I go to Australia. Anyone know if you can get them in the city?
Does a "Cuban Lunch" count as a cookie? Yet another "food" item that tastes like styrafoam. All natural preservatives and coated with motor oil for colour.

Fig Newtons are disgusting. Anybody like those Fruit Creme cookies from Peek Frean? They have the jelly centre. Those are purdy good.

I'm pretty sure you can get the original flavour of Tim Tams at Superstore. Also, the Tim Tam Slam rules beyond comprehension.

I think you have Cuban Lunch's confused with Wagon Wheels or something else. The Cuban Lunch we used to get growing up was a big square of chocolate poured into a square paper with a few nuts tossed in. It was more waxy tasting than anything.
EDIT: It would count as a chocolate bar, not a cookie.

No, that's the one. I have nightmares about that piece of crap, and how it continually made it into my lunch bag. I begged my mom to get me something good when we went shopping (like REAL chocolate), but those were always in the clearance bin in front of the checkout, so she always bought them. Those and sesame snaps.
My typical lunch was a PB&J sammy, cuban lunch, sesame snaps and an OJ. No wonder I was so skinny growing up.

To be so lucky... my packed lunches almost never contained desert. I sometimes did, however, get a thermos of soup with my sandwich. A cuban lunch or sesame snaps would have been a big treat compared to, you know, nothing.
