Most boring, uninspired cookie?
Fellow CPers, in order to prove a point to a lady friend of mine, I ask in all seriousness...
Out of all the brands of cookies available in your local supermarket, which would you say is the most boring, uninspired or bland?
Would it be shortbread? Graham crackers? Which brand/type would you only consider if there was a nuclear war and those were the only thing left you could reasonable eat?

Thirded.
Arrowroot wins.
As for most boring cookie....? I think I've gotta go with shortbread on this one. Not a fan. Graham crackers are up there but they are a key ingredient in a S'more and they're certainly not boring. Also... it's a graham cracker.

Arrowroot is awesome.
Dad's Oatmeal cookies suck, but milk can make anything tolerable.
The best in a bag are the President's choice Decadent Oatmeal, Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter cookies.
Anybody ever have a Georgewich at Cookies By George?

Although goodie rings are awesome, Dad's plain oatmeal cookies suck, especially because they are hard as rock.
Another lame-o is the Dare variety pack, the aromas from the cookies mix, and they all end up tasting the same.
Lastly, I don't know if they still make these, but there used to be this really cheap brand of cookies that came in a box with the cookies just all loose in the box. (e.g. chocolate chip) They sucked.

White Sugar cookies, the kind they decorate with halloween and christmas-themed frosting. Those are bad.
After that, any cookie is good in my books.

Love ginger snaps if they are the kind that are still a little soft.
But seconded on the Fig Newtons sucking.
