Suggestion: News/Media Sub-Forum for Off Topic Forum

Before the Tech Talk sub-forum was created, there were alot of topics regarding Tech in the Off Topic Forum. After the sub-forum was created, the Off Topic forum was alot more organized because you were able to discuss tech topics in a separate sub-forum.

To better organize the Off Topic Forums, I think we should have a separate sub-forum (Just like the Tech Talk) for News and Media talk. Alot of the discussions in the Off Topic Forums are about recent news articles so I think it'll be alot more organized if we have a separate sub-forums for it.

Not sure if I understand the reasoning - the off-topic forum is in essence a board for 'other news'. If anything the it should be kept that way and any other topics that merit their own forum (like the Tech Talk) should be broken off.

That being said I'm not a fan of having too many sub-forums as I think good topics get missed.

I agree with Jiri. Too many subforums makes it confusing and probably more work for the mods.
