Huge Tent at Currie Barracks???

Yup, EnCana sure is having a party tonight. They're keeping it really secret, but the word around the office is that it is at the Barracks (the tent is a bit of a give away).

There are also parties at every field office in the company, it's a pretty huge event.

Don't want to raise your hopes, but I remember a buddy of mine was working at RIM in Waterloo, and for their 'secret party' at some arena there, they had the Barenaked Ladies open for Aerosmith.

Barenaked ladies are playing at the party in Denver, and the Band's here are still a secret, but we do know that there will be 2 and that they are Canadian. Some of the front runners in teh rumor mill, are oe of Nickleback, The Hip, the Trews, and one of the Guess Who, or BTO.

Should be fun.

No one really knows. The general consensus is that it's pretty much just a "Whoopee, we're the biggest producer in Canada" party.

The party was pretty good. The Event was more or less just to celebrate that we're the #1 producer in North America, and a bunch of other good achievements. All in all it was fun, but for what I'm sure it cost the company, I wouldn't want to see them do it on a regluar basis.

Randy Bachman I do believe appeared at The One..... better than the Oval Party in my opinion.
