Wow, how awesome would that be to visit all those places. I'm jealous. I couldn't help but smile when watching the video.

I was jealous, then i saw he went to Timbuktu, a place I thought only existed in hyperbole, now I am exceedingly jealous.

I think Stride gum paid for it, at the end he thanks them.
And that vid really was amazing. There are some definitely epic dances in there.

Reading his FAQ, he paid for his first trip himself, essentially selling everything and travelling non-stop keeping in touch with family letting them know where he was. Then stride approached him and offered to pay for his next around the world trip. Pretty good deal all around. I've been contemplating doing something like his first trip for a while.

Wow. Incredible. I'm not embarrassed to admit that video actually brought a tear to my eye. I'm sitting here thinking "maybe the human race has chance after all." It might seem like silly thing to say if you've only heard about the video, but it breathes sheer joy, exuberance, a feeling of unification and commonality.
And from a technical standpoint, not only is the idea genius, but it comes alive because of the editing and fantastic choice of music. Great find, thanks for sharing.

Brilliant video. I saw some stuff on this guy a while ago when he was on his first trip but that montage was awesome.

What I find amazing about it is how a lot of those people probably didn't even speak English, but were all able to dance with him out of their happiness.
The translation in English from the Bengali language was posted on the YouTube site:
I will not forget so easily
And rejoice every bit of my life
Hidden inside death
An endless stream of life
A flute sings amidst thunder
Its not an easy song to sing
But, I will rise in that tune
(Chorus Repeat 3X)
And that storm breeds joy
In the strings of your soul
Seven seas and seven wonders
Dance in that rhythm
(Chorus repeat)

My favorite was at 3:45 - Paris, France = the long haired bearded guy in the white shirt.
That video was awesome though - really good.
It reminded me a lot of the "free hugs" video.

Watch for a new video - Where the Hell is Locke?
That is a cool video - people are great wherever you go in the world. Except Edmonton.

I saw this video when I was on the Stride Gum website signing up for a free sample a couple of months ago (which I actually received!!! now it's my favourite gum!) I think they had a contest asking what you could do for hours on end while chewing their gum.
