Default OCZ coming out with new, decent priced SSDs!

OCZ is looking to trump Super Talent push down-market with faster SSDs at even lower price points. The company today announced its new Core Series 2.5" SSDs which are the most affordable, large-capacity SSDs that we've seen to date. The 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB models are priced at $169, $259, and $479 respectively -- the drives also feature a two-year warranty.
This is finally at a somewhat reasonable price, a 32GB or 64GB drive for your OS and apps, and a normal drive (or NAS) for big music, picture, and movie movies.

Of course what I'd really want to do is put a bunch of them in a RAID array to see how fast they can really go

I don't really want to drag it off topic? What exactly is a Solid State Drive?

Cool. My next system will certainly have one of these. But that's a way off, as I just built a computer. Don't think I'll ever add one to this build though, since I think I've just about used up all cable slots on my Corsair HX-620 PSU already.

I think the Touch has an SSD drive.
There are no "disks", just memory. So there is no spin up, searching etc.
Like a flash memory card that you get for cameras and stuff.
(i think).

So what would be a typical access time for one of these drives?

Access time for these is usually fractions of a ms, I think .35ms for these ones.

I'm trying so hard not to build a computer right now, I hate my current rig but I want to wait for the new Intel architecture.
