Human Baby Born in Egg?
Sorry, no link. This is me looking for info. I dimly recall seeing a news report many years ago about a child who was born inside an egg. The Doctor immediately broke the egg (which was blue green in color), and found the completely healthy baby inside.
That's all I got. I remember the doctor holding a piece of the egg. I was pretty young at the time, so maybe I'm mixing it up with an old movie or something.
I have been searching everywhere for it online with no joy.
Hope you can help.
(just to be clear - the egg was inside the woman, not found under a leaf or anything.)

LOL. No, I'm pretty sure I'd recall if it was a KITH skit!
Damn those boys were funny.

Maybe a movie, definitely not fact.

I wonder if Bat-Boy is the father? And if they were still going to get Bush to baptize it.

Hmm... actually I think I remember this as well.. It was not so much an egg, but a thick membrane of mucus due to some rare disorder, iirc...

I think I saw this as well.
Grocery store? Check-out area? Black and white newspaper?

Probably just some variation of a caul birth:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caul
Googling this, I found a case of a baby being living in a caul for 25 minutes after birth, and suffering no permanent ill effects... perhaps that was what you recall.

I don't totally understand the obscure reference. But I shall explain my end. I was 7 at the time and seeing that skit for some reason disturbed me so much. Serves me right for watching kids in the hall at that age.
