I had no problem finding good looking women on other sites. Though like anything on the internet (see: messagebaords ) you have to wade through a ton of crap to find that diamond in the rough.
not sure how this stops the savages from uploading pictures of the elitests
In fact i have a feeling we will be hearing alot of matches gone bad from this site.
A lot of the pictures on that site just look like regular people...
Also, I read in the paper that you have to submit a photo of yourself holding the current days newspaper. This is the security measure to make sure you aren't throwing in pics of models.
So how insecure do you have to feel about your appearance to apply for a beautiful peoples club?
"I'm...in...? I'M IN!!!! I'M BEAUTIFUL!!! TO ALL THOSE PEOPLE WHO SAID I'D NEVER AMOUNT TO ANYTHING, WHO'S LAUGHING NOW!!! HA! HA!"

Interestingly enough, the creators of the site look shockingly similar to the actor starring in everybody's favorite youtube video "My New Haircut." Nice work ###### bags. (Youtube link possibly NSFW, language)
Why am I not surprised that one of the founders has a fauxhawk. That hairstyle just screams "dousche".
You know, this site just never seemed like it was a good idea for me. Here's a few reasons why.
This is the big on for me, and in the end it's killed a lot of relationships that had already either started or were just getting going. Communication over the internet is really REALLY hard. If you make any sort of joke that is lewd or possibly mean that would get passed off as playful flirting in real life, you must follow it with every cute emoticon you have, otherwise it's probably going to crash and burn. How much do you want to bet a lot of these people are sensitive about their looks and that it would end poorly if you made a joke about a girl being "just not having enough symmetry." (On the flip side, how fun would it be to get on there and just shoot everyone down?)
The second one is also a problem. Pictures online are deceiving. Angles are everything. I've seen girls who look stunning in one photo and then make me scream "DO NOT WANT" and run from the computer crying in other photos. One of my friends willfully admits that she takes around 100, 200 pictures when she's getting photos of her self and uses about five of them.
And the final one, if you are on there looking for anything beyond shallow sex you're in for a surprise. You're trying to date someone on the sole basis of their looks. The relationship is as deep as the kiddie pool.

Well said canuckle, i agree especially with the Pictures issue.
All these dating sites do is sell hope and steal your money. Studies show that a beautiful "super-model" woman is approached by a pospective suiter at least 30 times a day. Ask yourself, why does this woman need to use this website. I laugh when I'm watching late night TV and one of those 1-900-talk commercials comes on with a gorgeous young woman who is by herself at home and needs to talk on the phone to meet guys. Its a fantasy.
