It isn't very portable, and I would say it's more a desktop replacement than a laptop.
This is a long trip laptop that you should be getting stopped at the border with so that the border guards can throw you in the clink for all the illiegal music that you will be putting onto it.
And the specs are good. It's got an actual video card and not one of the integrated jobbies that are most often found on lower cost laptops. 8400m is still a bottom of the barrel card but it'll do quake 3.

I would not be playing games on it anyways so the video card is not a big deal. As long as I could watch movies, surf CP and work on Word/Excel docs thats about fills my needs for a computer!
If I could replace my desktop that would be ideal too considering I have had it for 7-8 years and sometimes it just shuts off on its own.
