He's terribly concerned about Frank to be honest. Gizmo likes humans alot more then other dogs, and it took him awhile to come around. I've often compared to two to Ashton Kutcher and Walter Matheau. A rather hilarious combination.

Thanks, it's hard to get them to hold still for a photo, they are always on the move.

Really?? I had a half husky/half sheperd mix when I was younger and though also gorgeous, looked nothing like your doggie. He looked mostly husky. Weird.

Well I will be honest...he is definitely 50% husky (he has husky fur) but we are not completely sure what the other half is. Not many dogs in Nunavut other than Husky and German Sheppard so becuase of his colors we thought he had Sheppard in him for sure. I guess he could be pure Husky but he is a little on the small side for that I think. He is 9 months old and weighs 55lbs.

We are not sure...maybe he is pure Husky, just neat colors?!?

Oh, I wasn't suggesting he wasn't that mix, just that it's funny, in an "isn't that odd?" kind of way, that we both have doggies of that particular mix (well, I had a doggie of that mix ) and they look totally different.

Looking at the pics, I would say that he definitely has husky and sheperd in there, and maybe another breed as well, but I am not expert by any stretch.

Is there anyway to find this kind of thing out? I really wish I knew what he was exactly.

Any chance he is 100% husky I wonder?

My dog looked closer to yours, but not quite. He did have the stripe on his nose though. I think mine was a pretty good mix of both. People had a hard time deciding which he looked like more.

And yeah, the daddy was a German Sheperd named James Brown that got out of the yard, ran into the neighbouring yard and forced himself on a purebred Husky.

Beyond just asking your vet their opinion, I don't know. It would be interesting to know if there was though...
