Create a logo for the Calgarypuck hockey team

I talked to them again today, and for one, I had misquoted when I said it would be $200 to create the logo. It was actually $300. However, now instead of paying that start-up fee twice, she is saying that she can call it an "edit" to switch it from red based to white based. So we'll have to pay the $300 start up fee, plus a $50 edit fee.

She gave me the reasoning behind the fact that the socks would be $60 per pair. It's because reebok owns the patent on the design of the new socks, and that's what reebok charges for companies such as cal-crests to sell their patented product. She said reebok basically prices them that high so that no one in their right mind will buy them, lol.

hmm... I don't need socks as a goalie (I'm a sweatpants kinda guy), but can you just get me a pair of the white ones? I want it for my other team(s).

Alright, so not being a part of the rec team (for obvious reasons of, still needing to reinvest in gear, and slight transportation issues) but I would like one of the jerseys.

I don't really need the name and numbers though. Is that much of a problem?

Nope, you'll be able to order the jersey however you want

Okay so if we put this team in the HNA, we're going to have to abide by their strict uniform guidlines. That means we'll have to add numbers to the sleeves, as well as everyone will have to have their last name on the back of the jerseys. Plus, everyone will have to wear black pants, helmets and gloves

Since the logo is basically the Ottawa 67's logo and there was about 10 people involved in this jersey in one way or another, we have decided that the extra $10 per guy will be donated to Calgarypuck for allowing us to use their name for our team and the puck logo as our shoulder patch.

So with the 14 guys on the team, and the 3 or 4 guys buying them, that should be about $180.

I know I've asked several times, but as time goes by I figure one or two of the guys who were ordering jerseys for themselves may have changed their mids. So I'll make an official post with the names of the people that aren't on the team, that are ordering a jersey or two. So if you're one of these people, just add a post stating whether you want a home (red), away (white), or both.

Also, for anyone ordering a jersey (whether you're on the team or not), make sure your familiar with sizing of the new style jerseys, keep in mind the jersey will have to fit over shoulder pads, and if you don't wear shoulder pads, it will still have to fit (somewhat) over your hockey pants. ...and for those of you just buying them to wear, if you haven't tried on one of the new edge style jerseys, keep in mind that they fit differently than the old jerseys.

I'll phone tomorrow, but I believe cal-crests has at least one sample of each size of the jersey that you can try on. They're located near the Timmies/Wendy's on Mcknight. (right near the airport).

Adrenline source for sports now has the Flames edge reebok socks in stock. They don't have enough for our team, but they said they can order them in. They said if I order 30 pairs (home and away for each player), then they'll give me 10% off.

They are $29.99ea, so with the discount it'll be $26.99, so about $53 + gst. Are there any objections to this? I figure if we have gone this far, we might as well order the socks to go with the nice jerseys.

Also, I'm going to put the deposit in on Monday so they can get started on the jersey's, cause we have to have them by the beginning of sepember. So for the guys that wanted them, but aren't on the team, I'll put you guys in as a seperate order when I find out how many of you there are.

Any timeline for these jerseys flameswin? I know you mentioned somewhere that calcrest was backed up...just curious. These are going to be f'ing sweet though.
