And Tiger wins it!

Wow, what a GREAT U.S. Open. I've never watched golf so avidly but this one had all the drama you could ask for.

It's not about who won or lost this time. It was the journey.
I've never watched so much golf over 3 days!

Not quite. Although I wouldn't be surprised if he won the next five.

He is so clutch it's unreal. On 18, solid drive, solid second shot and a two putt for birdie. He made it look so routine, but under those circumstances it was anything but. Good for Mediate, he went toe to toe with the greatest for as long as anyone. I wouldn't have been disappointed if he won.

Are you just being a total jerk? Or do you not know that Woods didn't win the Masters earlier this year, and won 1 of the 4 majors last year. He contends in pretty much every major but he doesn't win them all.

Yeah, I think last year he only won 1 (the PGA)
And thus far this year he's won just this one (Of the two played so far)
So of the last 6 he's won 2.

That's still a lot, but I don't think he's ever won a Grand Slam, let alone 6 in a row.

Damn beat to it.

This is true. If Rocco had birdied 18 either Sunday or Monday he would have won. He's a likable guy but it seemed that deep down inside he didn't believe in himself that he could win. He's just happy to be there. You've got to believe!

no i dont like golf, it's a sport for softies. I am baffled how canadians who like it rough play in hockey like golf so much. No offense.

go be angry and watch some mma. if you don't like golf, why add you uninformed oppinion to the forum? your clearly not a fan and also appear to know very little about the sport.

Than why are you wasting your time to read this thread?

Ever try to play the game and be any good at it. I don't think theres many games out there that demand the raw skill that golf does. And for those who say golf requires zero athleticism, or is a soft game. Try swinging a club that many times and see how your combination of knee's, shouders, ankles, back, wrists hold up.

Obviously, if this tournament didn't convince you that golfers aren't softies, nothing will.

Okay, I'm not sure how talking about how it was a great tournament on an internet message board is sucking up to Tiger Woods.

Gee, I really hope he reads this and gives me a call!!!!!!!!

Besides, who cares what Tiger thinks about Hockey?
I'm sure he feels the same about rugby, and that doesn't upset me.
I'll bet he doesn't like motorcycles, should I hate him for that?
Hell he probably drinks skim milk and thinks anyone who drinks 2% is crazy, he's right, but if he ever speaks out against 1% he's a dead man.

Hockey is the sport we love???
Damn, I guess I missed the memo that states that we can't like more than one sport.
