Does Dell just randomly start these things? Or is there some sort of notice a bit before hand... Without CP I tend to completely miss out on the promotion.

That Bluetooth headset looks like a good deal. But:

- Has anybody heard of that brand before?
- Is there any compatability issues with Bluetooth, or can I assume that my 18 month old phone with bluetooth will work just fine with it? I know the point of BT is easy compatability, but I have no practical experience with it.

Jabra is alright, kind of in the middle. But I don't like mine at all. Power problems and the connection to my phone isn't as good as my Nokia headset.

Ever since they've introduced "Vote for the next Deal", the deals have sucked.

I was just going to ask, if anyone has any opinions on those.
I think I'll get one also.

What's the verdict on the 8GB USB drive? I ordered one, hoping that 60X
means it's not slow?

Also of interest (sorry if link doesn't belong here, it's not Dell):

Not sure what it means either.

Just doing some comparing, looks like FS has a Kingston 8GB model for $30.

For the sake of $5 getting a brand I know (and can find drivers for if I encounter a W2K computer) and being able to pick it up and use it now is worth the extra couple of bucks.

Ken, FYI:

60X means that is its write speed. In multiples of 150kB/sec.
So it would be 9MB/sec write.

40X would be 6MB/sec. And so on.

The Kingston you refer to does 1.5MB/sec write, or 10X.

From Lexar.
"What does 4X, 12X, 16X, 32X and 40X (1X=150KB/sec.) performance mean?"

The one review of that frame isn't really glowing:
