I had to work until about 8:00pm today so
my wife is there with our 2 sons as we speak.(write?)
I asked her if she was going to wear a halter and shorts
like she used to, her reply was "Are you kidding! I breast
fed two boys and I'm 40, What do you think?"

I guess I was told.

Yeah it did get pretty hot in there. Buddy next to me had his shirt off and was banging his head in the air spraying me with his wet hair. Freaking crazy loud show - I can't believe those guys have that much energy at their age. Bruce Dickenson is an animal! Unbelievable that he can sing like that non-stop for 2 hours!!!

Easily one of the best concerts I've ever been to, probably the best. For how old they are, they still have alot of energy. This show definately was everything I was expecting, will totally see them again if they do ever return to Calgary.

Harris' daughter looked amazing, much better than in any photo. Decent stage presence, silly in between song banter and horrible songs. Honestly some of the worst material I have heard in a long time. But damn she was nice to look at.

Had a great time, even with fighting off the animals on the floor for most of the show. Great setlist, brought me right back to my childhood when I first bought Somewhere in Time and spent hours listening and looking at the cassette cover. Those 'ol limeys delivered and the show actually got better 3/4 of the way through.

Were you on the floor Haber, scrapping it out in the pit?

By the way, I'm halfway through Hammer of the Gods, way better than the Richard Cole book. Inspired me to finally pick up a HD copy of The Song Remains the Same. Nice!

Iron Maiden was great. Everything I expected them to be.

That opening act though. Wow. How in the hell did she manage to get on this tour? Why would Maiden decide to let her tour with them? ..... Probably sucked off the bass player or something.

Great, great concert. I'm not sure I've had a better value for my money in an arena show. Solid two hours of tightly performed music and show for 80 bucks. I bought the Eddie Team Canada shirt and I don't usually pick up a shirt but that was marketing genius on their part.

This was the highlight of the Vancouver show for me. I'm still awestruck at how much energy six +50-year-old men can display; how Bruce Dickenson can sing like that for +2 hours; how easy Dave Murrey, Janick Gers and Adrian Smith make it appear to play three guitar parts, and how tight they are.

This is how rumors start :P

I had an awesome time at the show. I am just out the door to go camping. I will post a review when I get back.

I can't say I was an Iron Maiden fan before this concert, but I went anyway.

Now I'm definitely an Iron Maiden fan. They put on a show and then some.

That was what a rock concert should be.

Awesome. They played every song I wanted them to.

Can someone fill me in: Is it true Bruce flies their touring jet? I know he is a licensed airline pilot, but my god, most pilots don't rock 20,000 people every 1 or 2 nights.

I can't even get out of bed for work in the morning on time and then there is Bruce: pilot, rockstar, musician, radio DJ, fencing champion, able to drive locomotives and tanks, who is almost 50 and probably has the energy of 4 20 year olds put together.

it is true, he flies their plane. He's an accomplished commercial airline pilot.
