Can you all do us a favor please, if you arent going to be around during the day can you please give your draft list to someone so they can pick for you? This is taking waaaay too long. We cant wait a day between picks, we have stuff we need to do.

Well, I'm sure by the time it rolls around to me again, there won't be anything left. By the time it was my turn, I was sound asleep, then off to work where I usually do not have the ability to check the boards. Not really sure what more I could have done here ... making my pick was the first thing I did when I turned on the computer after work.

I believe in the Pony Power

^We understand that. Just need people to start PMing us lists if they are coming up. Right now we are average a pick a day...so whatever we are doing...it ain't working.
We need to get this done somehow.

OK I am changing this up to get things going.
We are now going to do it in groups of five.
As of now any of the next five teams can select:
8.Canadiens 81pts
9.Rangers 82pts
10.Islanders 86pts
11.Avalanche 86pts
12.Leafs 87pts
First come first serve - anytime a team makes a pick, a team from the next group can pick.
For instance if the Islanders make a selection the Yotes would then be eligible to make a pick.

Man you guys are picking quickly now! I've made my selection...no upside to McIver but if he holds a spot on the Canucks next year that's at least worth something.

I had Stortini, McLeod, Crombeen as all being more or less the same player, and McIvor was also in that grouping of 4. More or less bigger guys with minimal offensive abiity, and who'll take a lot of Pim's. I really could use another young defenceman so McIvor was a guy I really thought about taking. But I went with the guy I knew the most about and who I figured had the best chance of sticking with his NHL team next year. The difference between Stortini and McLeod was age and salary, Stortini being younger, and cheaper and being able to score better at the AHL level.

HA HA HA... he came up in trade discussions so many times. I could trade him out of the goodness of my heart knowing that the other GM thought it was the good Mcdonough. I swear his name came up atleast 10 times since I had him on my roster.

Yeah, I don't know a lot about McIver except he is a defensive d-man. Who knows if he'll end up sticking with the Canucks blue line or not. I still have room in my AHL squad though, so it was a low-risk pick.

So did you pick him thinking it was the other guy? Or did you know? To be honest, I don't have much knowledge on the other guy other than he was passed by his draft year and as far as I know he's still undrafted.
Heck, he may not even be crap as I originally said.

I knew which one he was but was still impressed by his goal a game pace this year in the OHL.
