I have this strangest recurring dream... It's 15 years ago and I'm a teenager working at Kmart. Anyhow, in this dream I screwed up. A customer called from across town and asked if we had these steel toed work boots in size 11. I said yes because I just put a pair of size 11s on the shelf. But when I go to put them aside for the customer, they were gone. When the customer arrives, he is absolutely irate and runs to the store manager. Now the store manager fires my ass and I beg him to let me keep the job because I need the money for my university tuition. Now I feel like an incredible dweeb begging for a job at Kmart... but I'm sweating bullets because I need that next paycheque or I'm being kicked out of school. And the just laughs and laughs.
Then I wake up and realized I make a hell of a lot more than what the store manager of Kmart did.... In a way it is a nightmare, but I really don't mind waking up and realizing how lucky I am.

-teeth disintegrating/crubling
-giant is coming to get me, never see him, just hear his footsteps (I think it may be my heartbeat...)
-in the neighborhood I grew up in and there are indians in the bushes waiting to kill me, but all I see are feathers sticking out th etop of the bushes
-I can fly, but no higher than 4 feet off the ground
-lots of: if I go around the corner from my childhood house or throught the trees across the street, I enter a different part of the world: beaches, forests, grasslands...

My scary dream is always the same..starts out at my old school which is on the ocean in Nanaimo...(Cilaire fo rthose of you who know Nanaimo) and there are Indians surrounding the school (on horses with headdresses and all) and we are all hiding in the cubbies under the windows, then we run to the ferries and my mom is running to the ferry as it's pulling away from the ramp..and im afraid my mom is going to fall in, and I'm panicking and screaming to my mom..the other dream i have is not scary at all.

OK, time to put those two together. Next time you have a lucid dream that takes place at your childhood house, try to fly then. I used to have the same dream where I could never get more than a few feet off the ground. But if I took off from my parents' back yard, I could fly as high as I wanted. Eventually I got better and better about flying elsewhere, to the point where I can fly whenever I want; and without having to flap my arms.

Interesting as for several years though my teens especially I had these dreams, in a way they turned out true as over time playing hockey, getting in fights and just having bad luck I lost several top teeth eventually and not having the coverage couldn't get them fixed properly till about 5 years ago. The dreams have stopped since but they turned out to be true!

For all you people losing your teeth...Its likely the bolded part!
teeth
A person's teeth can relate to your feelings about that person's:- Health and well-being
- Ability to do things for oneself or handle tasks in one's own life
- Ability to articulate and express oneself
Someone having problems with teeth, such as teeth falling out or having cavities, can represent feeling, fearing, or imagining that all is not well with that person, or perhaps that the person is not expressing themselves as well as you think they should.

and to Traditional-Ale re his Spiderman dream...
hero
Admirable qualities, rescuing, good will. Dreaming that you're a hero can mean you're feeling particularly helpful right now, or that you need to help others in order to boost your ego and self-worth.
powers
Power, control, ability. Dreaming that you have special powers or abilities can mean you're feeling powerless somehow in your life, or that there's a particular situation in which you'd like to have more power, or that you'd like to have more freedom or autonomy in your life. For more clues, consider the particular type of power you dream about. For example, dreaming that you can make yourself invisible may mean that there's something you want to know or understand, or that you'd like to "disappear" from your responsibilities sometimes. Dreaming that someone else has special powers can mean you feel they are powerful, or have the potential to manipulate, harm, or have power over you.

and for those still in their schools or late for exams...
late
Arriving late for something can mean:- Whatever you are late for in the dream represents something very important to you in real life
- You're neglecting a responsibility
- You'd like to avoid the thing you're late for, you're dreading it, or you're afraid of failure
- You're feeling passive-aggression towards an authority that is represented by whatever you're late for
- You feel you have too much on your mind or on your schedule, or that you're feeling disorganized
Being late and feeling bad about it can mean you are experiencing or fearing a loss of control, or of being controlled by outside circumstances, somehow in your life.
A late timeframe, such as late evening, might represent a point late in a real-life process or the timeframe of an actual event in your life.
test
A test or exam can represent a challenge or test in life, real or imagined. For instance, a dream about being nervous while taking a test might actually represent a job interview three days from now that you're anxious about.
school- Your actual school
- The period in your life when you went to the school that appears in your dream
- The idea that you are learning or being presented with lessons in your real life

and the people who fly....
flying
- Transcendence over your challenges or the mundane
- Freedom (or a wish for it) from the limitations of your own mental, emotional, and physical challenges—freedom that is available by connecting with your inner joy, love, and Spirit

Really weird dream I had. I was driving on Memorial Drive and all of a sudden the road collapses and I fight off trolls and goblins. No lies, I felt like I actually sliced and diced those darn goblins.
Thanks a lot MMO games >

anyone else have dreams about loved ones who have died? my mom passed away 7 years ago and every few weeks i'll have a dream where she'll be there and it's a completely normal family situation, we're having a conversation and it seems like nothing has ever changed. then i wake up, realize it was just a dream, and my mindset for the entire day is completely screwed up

I always dream that I'm in a fight, but my every punch I throw is in slow motion, almost like I'm punching under water. I can't ever hit the guy, and if I do, my fist just rubs off his face and doesn't harm him at all.
Another one, I'm playing hockey and I can't skate. That's about it, I keep standing up then falling over. I have a wide open night, and I fall over. Everyone on the team gets so mad at me...it's brutal.

I'm late for a lot of hockey games. And if I'm not late, I've forgotten my equipment, and can't play. I've never actually made it onto the ice yet.
I have a lot of dreams where I can't fly, but I kind of push myself off of walls and ceilings to move really quickly, kinda like a monkey swinging through trees.
When I was in high school I spent a lot of time analyzing my dreams, and at one point I was very good at stepping into my dreams and dictating what happened in them.
I can't run in any of my dreams. If I try to move my legs really fast, it's like Luigi in Mario 2, where his legs move really fast, but he doesn't go anywhere. I need to push myself off of walls and ceilings to move at all.
I've had a recurring dream since I was a wee lad, and it's impossible to describe. But even now, if I have the dream, it's frickin' terrifying. To the point where it's difficult to go to work that day, I'm so freaked out.

Ugh, I think I have a dream about my teeth at least once a week. A couple of years ago I chipped my front tooth on a champagne bottle. I got it fixed, and it looks normal, but for some reason I always have dreams that that tooth will fall out, or re-chip, or just crumble... its kind of ridiculous. I think the fact that I have nice teeth makes me very paranoid or something...
I was living in France for a while in a very small, northern industrial town, and basically hated it. When I left, I vowed never to return to that town as I was quite miserable while living there. Anyways, quite frequently I will dream that for some reason I am forced to return there, or am still living there. Every time I have that dream, I wake up extremely bummed out as it feels quite real.

HAHAH! My friends and I used to camp (with campfire!)in the field (on the side by the gulley...)on Friday nights with a bunch of liquor... You went to Woodlands? Maybe we know each other?
-The crumbly teeth dream started shortly after I took Dental Assisting, so I don't think there's a huge hidden message there
-My dad said that when you go somewhere in your dream, you're transcending to another plane of existence and you actually visited the places in your dreams...

I have one dream that is less of a reoccurring dream and more of a story that plays out in my head. It continues from where it left off last time. I have it a few times a month. I'm a superhero
