I'd seen a couple shows from time to time, but I finally got around to picking up the DVDs. I just got through the first season and am now starting the second...

Holy cow, this show is frickin hilarious. I haven't laughed this much at a TV show in a long time!

Agreed. I didn't start watching it regularly until about 3 months ago, and I quickly whipped through all three seasons in under a month, I couldn't stop watching it. Seinfeld has always been by far my favourite comedy series of all-time, and after watching AD, I'd place it at a veeeeery close 2nd. Absolute gold.

On a side note, I've already told the boyz that on my bday later this month, if they buy me enough shots, I'll go right in the middle of a bunch of snobby lookin chicks on the dancefloor and break out the GOB chicken dance. It'll be glorious!

I started watching maybe midway through the airing of the first season. Became an instant favourite. I quote it all the time. It's too bad that it seemed to find more of an audience once it was cancelled or after it was cancelled. Could have had a good life, I think.

Will Arnett is a Canadian, he is hilarious. A friend of mine in Calgary is his first cousin. Their Mom's are sisters. A great show, wish they still made it! We should petition to bring it back.

Michael "George Michael" Cera is Canadian too, from right around where I went to high school. My friend saw him at the mall once. That's my connection to Hollywood. Ha.

And there were petitions to keep it alive and to bring it back.

Some of you more diehard fans who appreciate the especially dry humor of AD might enjoy NBC's web-based mockumentary "Clark and Michael" starring Michael Cera in one of the lead roles. It's so dry that it's hard to recommend to people because some won't manage even a chuckle watching it, yet others like myself found it hilarious and very entertaining. Michael Cera really is a special young comedic talent- I have read comparisons to Bill Murray, in that he can show so much expression with his facial gestures and mannerisms, and that he has that same puppydog/sad clown quality about him that makes him likeable yet fragile.

And, has the movie really been confirmed? I too read some of the rumours, but I remember reading that JB said "the script would have to blow us all away" or something like that, and he didn't see it happening.

I think it's confirmed that there's definitely something in the works, but it's a long way from actually getting the go ahead from studio executives and such. I think pretty much every cast member (or at least Bateman, Cera, Tambor, Shawkat and Arnett) have confirmed that they have been approached about their availability and willingness to do a movie.

As well, I think industry people are really beginning to understand what a gem of a talent Cera is: he's probably already the biggest box-office draw of any of the AD cast members, and deservedly so; he's probably also a great cross-demographic actor: appealing to pretty much any general audience between 14 and 50, and either gender.

Ro, I had heard about that project, but hadn't checked it out. Thanks for the link, can't wait to get some time to go through it.

Once you are done the series give it a few weeks than watch it again, you will pick up on so many subtle jokes you missed

I have probably seen every episode at least 3 times and I’m still finding new things too laugh at

Edit:
Yes the movie is confirmed, link: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0901469/

The Octuple Fata? Wow.

On that note, AD is hilarious, but its a show you can sit down and watch with someone else who wont even crack a smile let alone laugh.
