I can't believe you opened this! Seriously if you're a guy and you just opened up this thread smack yourself in the head right now!!!!!! (ha ha) Sorry guys kind of bored, just finished doing yardwork and getting sick of hearing my girlfriend and her friends talking about this movie out on the deck. MOD's you can delete this thread if you want, just messing around until the hockey game starts.

Well, I went into this thread hoping to hear a rant about a guy who was dragged in to see this movie by his significant other and a detailed description about how god-awful it was.

There was a great article in the Herald yesterday comparing hardcore SATC fans to Trekkies. I concurred 100%.

Haha...just got back from it. What a horrendous, brutal, boring, WAY too long movie. This one oughtta fulfill my relationship responsibilities for a long, long time. My fiance is one of those SATC trekkies.

Ditto. I just came here to mock the OP, but no such luck.

I went to see the Visitor last night. there was a hoard of women at the theater, lined up through the top floor of Eau Claire. I'm sure it was 99% women, It was quite the sight.
Personally i wouldn't worry about the guys opening this up. I'd be more concerned about the ones who won't because of the Spoiler warning.

Yeah, I seen it...

There's these four broads sitting on an outdoor patio at a quaint Brooklyn bistro talking about how cosmopolitan they are. Then a big Godzilla foot appears out of nowhere and crushes them.

The End.

There. I just saved you and the Missus 25 bucks.

Must have been the opposite of opening night for Rambo.

I opened up this thread to find out why the movie is rated 18A.

I can only assume that those watching it actually get to see "Sex in the City" and not just some dumb movie about 4 broads talking about their relationships.

Sure, if you enjoy seeing 40 and 50 year old women going at it, you may enjoy the sex scenes.

Well first off I never said I wanted to see that, I just wanted to know why it had the rating it has. I mean the comedian Ron White put it best, 'once you've seen one woman naked, you... wanna see the rest of 'em naked.'

I was seriously thinking this had to be a joke, or that there were actually dudes on CP that like this show... which is ridiculous.

Sarah Parker's face looks like a foot. Or a horse. And what's with the bumb on her chin? You would have to be absolutely hammered to ever be anywhere near attracted to her.

A girl that I'm seeing wanted me to take her, she hinted at it all day, and I totally resisted, I have no interest in it, I could handle the other chick flicks that she dragged me to, but there's no way in hell.

She finally thought that she had broken me down when I slammed down the remote and told her that I would go, and there would be a price to it, when I named my price, she decided that she would take her sister instead.

Damn I guess I'm gonna have to change the oil in my car and paint the fence by myself.
