We weren't in gangland last night, we were at Crescent heights. The Marlborough field is our home field though, so we had to practice our affiliations. Speaking of which, we wear red so I hope Marlboroguh park isn't Cripp territory.

Maybe to hedge our bets a bit we can get FireFly to procure some blue flags to hang out our backsides. But only on the left side. Because, well, you know... that's the Crip side.

In fairness, he didn't have time to do either! Had I placed my shot a tad better (two feet to the right) I would have hit him right in the leather.
Message to self, shoot high glove side on him!
And note to Redvan, didn't see your invite for brewskies until I got back home. (I was out on the diamonds raking them at 4:30) As you must have noted, our team is in rebuilding mode. We have the next generation of Taz pretty much ready to go... in 12 years or so. Due to all the kids, we don't go out to pubs after games any more.... just build up for Lyalta and Drumheller.
Again, great night for ball, and lots of laughs!
FireFly, still need your game report for our records emailed. Thx!

God... I go 3-4, score a run, three putouts, and this is the crap I take? Boourns!
Aeneas - Popup between first and second, Gloria ran to get it, I was behind her. She was backing up as I called for the ball. At the last second, I realized she wasn't going to back off, so I stopped hard as we nearly collided. Ball bounced off her glove, off me, off her again and I cought it against my body with my forearm.
Though it would have helped if the ump had called the infield fly rule...

No not really. I have the score sheets from the 4 games. These numbers would be an on base percentage I suppose. The percentage reaching base by hit, error, base on balls, or fielder's choice.
