Can Hendrix be picked many times? ex. guitarist, song, album, USA West, etc?
Nope.
Each individual can only be picked once.
Each band can only be picked once.
So Bob Marley is yours and yours alone
I used this example replying to some PMs.
Even though the Beatles have been taken, Lennon, McCartney, Harrison and Star can still be picked on their own. But "The Beatles" can't be picked again.

What is someone picks the Jimi Hendrix Experience? Band of Gypsies?
“There’s no ‘I’ in Teamocil, at least not where you think”
I keep meaning to watch that show, but every time I go DVD shopping I forget to look for them. I caught a few episodes here and there on Showcase... I should make a note on my berry to remind myself this weekend.
Sure! The first is a band, the second is an album.
The second (that being the Band of Gypsys) was a band and not an album, the album was self titled. After The Jimi Hendrix Experience ended, more really Jimi kicked Noel Redding out of the band because Noel thought he was more important then he was. They still had some gig's left, I pretty sure Woodstock was one of them. Jimi had a group of musicians and formed a band I forget the name of right at the moment with Billy Cox replacing Noel.
Sometime after that Jimi with friend Billy Cox asked Buddy Miles to replace Mitch Mitchell and the three of them formed a new power trio called the Band of Gypsys

Jeez... I wonder who Monsieur Fish is going to take. That's almost as tough to forecast as foofighter's pick!
very true...
With the 8th pick overall in the CP music draft.... I am honored and pleased to select as my band: none other than the unbelievably talented, good looking, charming, rock and rolling, "ballin":
Led Zeppelin
Quote:
Led Zeppelin were an Englishrock band that formed in August 1968. Led Zeppelin consisted of Jimmy Page (guitar and theremin), Robert Plant (vocals, harmonica and occasionally tambourine), John Paul Jones (bass guitar, keyboards) and John Bonham (drums, percussion). With their heavy, guitar-driven sound, Led Zeppelin are regarded as one of the first heavy metal bands.[1][2] However, the band's individualistic style draws from many sources and transcends any one genre.[3] Their rock-infused interpretation of the blues and folk genres[4] also incorporated rockabilly,[5]reggae,[6]soul,[7]funk,[8]classical, Celtic, Indian, Arabic, pop, Latin and country. The band did not release the popular songs from their albums as singles in the UK, as they preferred to develop the concept of album-oriented rock.[9]
Close to 30 years after disbanding following Bonham's death in 1980, Led Zeppelin continue to be held in high regard for their artistic achievements, commercial success and broad influence. The band have sold more than 300 million albums worldwide,[10][11][12][13][14] including 111.5 million sales in the United States[15] and they have had all their non-compilation studio albums reach the U.S. Billboard Top 10.[16] Led Zeppelin are ranked No. 1 on VH1's 100 Greatest Artists of Hard Rock.[17]Rolling Stone magazine has described Led Zeppelin as "the heaviest band of all time" and "the biggest band of the 70s".[18]
With the 9th overall pick Neon Dion And The Iggy Pops are pleased and extremely proud to pick in the Canada category, Rush!
Rush is a Canadianrock band originally formed in August 1968, in the Willowdale neighbourhood of Toronto, Ontario; presently comprised of bassist, keyboardist, and lead vocalistGeddy Lee, guitaristAlex Lifeson, and drummer and lyricistNeil Peart. The band and its membership went through a number of re-configurations between 1968 and 1974, achieving their definitive form when Neil Peart replaced original drummer John Rutsey in July 1974, two weeks before the group's first U.S. tour.
Since the release of the band's self-titled debut album in March 1974, Rush has become known for the instrumental skills of its members, complex compositions, and eclectic lyrical motifs drawing heavily on science fiction, fantasy, and libertarianphilosophy, as well as addressing humanitarian, social, emotional, and environmental concerns.
Musically, Rush's style has evolved over the years, beginning in the vein of blues-inspired heavy metal on their first album, then encompassing hard rock, progressive rock, a period dominated by synthesizers and, more recently, modern rock. They have influenced various musical artists, including Metallica,[1][2]The Smashing Pumpkins[3] and Primus,[3] as well as notable progressive metal bands such as Dream Theater[1] and Symphony X.[4]
Rush has won a number of Juno Awards, and was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 1994. Over the course of their careers, the individual members of Rush have been acknowledged as being some of the most proficient players on their respective instruments, with each band member winning several awards in magazine readers' polls. As a group, Rush possesses 24 gold records and 14 platinum (3 multi-platinum) records. These statistics place Rush fifth behind The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Kiss and Aerosmith for the most consecutive gold and platinum albums by a rock band. Rush also ranks 78th in U.S. album sales according to the RIAA with sales of 25 million units.[5] Although total worldwide album sales are not calculated by any single entity, as of 2004 several industry sources estimated Rush's total worldwide album sales at over 40 million units.

Now we're movin'! I think I'm going to go off the board with my pick to ensure I nab this particular team member.

Yes this is interesting... Do I throw it all out the window and nab my favourite band now, or do I play to win and risk someone else snatching them up...
