Here is my experience
1. Break the rules - you might get a blue square
2. Someone doesnt like your opinion - you might get a blue square
3. Someone really likes what you have to say - you might get a red square.

Basically. Make one tiny mistake and get a blue square. Make a couple hundred contributive posts after that aren't three page essays, stick with blue square. But I'm not bitter.
