guy goes "gta" in calgary
Can't believe there isn't a thread on this. Did you guys here about the carjackings yesterday? apparently several cars were jacked at gun point and was spread out over the city and the ordeal lasted 2 hours.
and witnesses said he fired a couple shots in the air and then put the gun to a womans head and stole her car. He also may have had hostages in a car with him.

If this was the late 90s/early 2000s we would already have news reports and official press releases from "Concerned family" organizations blaming the Grand Theft Auto series/other video games, and violence on TV and in movies for all the troubles of the world.

When I first clicked on the link, I saw the pic of the litlle oriental guy being helped by the cops thinking that was the suspect.

I was in line at Tim Hortons yesterday and overheard 2 cops talking about this. I thought they were talking about another city....like Detroit.
In other news, I see the Sunshine girl has crossed the trans-gender boundaries today

Well, he hijacked a car and they do that in GTA so video games are obviously the motive behind these attacks.
