Default Best TV Jingle

As a caution, I'd suggest not signing up to what they're advertising. I'm not sure how they make money, but I think they probably verify your information and sell it to the actual credit reporting agencies. I have no proof of that of course.

But their TV jingle is awesome catchy. Here's 3 of 4 I've seen from them, all using the same singer and a similar melody:

Also:

And:

Any personal favourites?

"Two all beef patties special sauce lettuce cheese pickles onions on a sesame seed bun" is also great

Embedded videos FTW. I'm gonna try to do that too.

Great jingle, BTW.

Edit: figured it out-- Put [ youtube ] the video number not the url [/ youtube ] without the spaces and it will show.

Delete the spaces between the brackets and the letters too...

As far as I know, they make money by charging a monthly fee for monitoring your credit report and emailing you if there are any changes. Of course you can get one credit report form each of the agencies free annually.

Catchy jingle for sure.

WHEN GOOD MUSIC HAPPENS TO BAD ADS
http://adblog.msnbc.msn.com/archive/...28/330122.aspx

We here at Ads of the Weird like Bob Mould a lot, and as business writers and editors we also are partial to financial news. But we know better than to mix the two.

Apparently the folks at TIAA-CREF don’t agree. The financial services company has decided to use alt-rock icon Mould’s “See A Little Light” as the cornerstone of an ad campaign touting the benefits “dot-orgs” over “dot-coms.”

The problem here isn’t that good musicians are selling out by deciding to let their music be featured in an ad. It’s increasingly hard to begrudge a musician trying to eke out another paycheck in an era when album sales are faltering and radio play is harder to come by. And let’s face it, if you excluded all the musicians who have sold out commercially or had other shortcomings of character, your record/CD/MP3 collection would be pretty thin.

The issue is that advertisers think co-opting our favorite songs will get us to buy their products instead of just ruining the songs for us.

Flaming Lips lend “Do You Realize” to Land Rover Commercial…
http://saladdaysmusic.net/?p=825

Well, what do you think of “Do You Realize” being used in a Land Rover commercial? Does it change the meaning of the song for anyone? I usually don’t mind bands using their songs in advertisements, but I really hated to see this song being used for this product.

For any Nova Scotians on the board.... or TPB fans (Bubbles is always singing it).

Couldn't find the actual commercial but this is close enough:

I absolutely loathe all those Telus ads with the animals and stuff but they put my kid into a trance. She drops what she's doing when she hears them and starts bopping along with a smile on her face. Now, if that was their target demographic then I would say those are the best ads evar.

Until your kid tears out your throat in your sleep because Telus turned her into a zombie.

Bad news man. You really ought to put a tinfoil hat on that kid.

Early 80's MacDonalds commercial. (I have yet to meet anyone that remembers it or seen a clip... )A buch of kids are sad because it's raining and they can't do anything, so parent dresses them up in yellow slickers and gumboots and trots them off to mickey-dees. The kids are singing:

We are the nipper-sinkers,
We're in luck!
If it rains all day,
We're gonna quack like a duck!
Quack quack, Waddle waddle.
Quack quack, Waddle waddle.

I was thinking about this one too. Annoying as hell, yet catchy

I've always said that some kid toys company should be taking notes from that campaign, because my kids are the same way. Any one of those commercials just mesmerizes both of them.

The first thing that came to mind for me was the Pizza Hut song, don't know if you people have the same in Alberta, but here in Ontario, we hear it all the time....

767-88-48, 767-88-48, 767-88-48...Pizza Hut Delivery!

Its hilarious. Hes not allowed to own or drive the car, but hes always there in the passenger seat, freeloading. Does every VW come with the obligatory black friend?
