So I guess the biggest istory of our time is whether it's good or bad for western societies to become more Muslim?

If that's the biggest story of our time then I kind of feel like someone forgot to read me the story. Far as I can tell, the western society I live in is just as Muslim now as it was, well, for ever. In other words, it's not Muslim at all. There are some Muslim people to be sure, but the society I live in is not more or less Muslim than it ever was.

It's a convenient monster in the closet for guys like Steyn and Ezra Levant to courageously stand up to, and for the gullible to worry about, but it's not happening in Canada. It just isn't.

These piddling little HRT cases are all they have to show for the impending Muslim takeover. I think I'll sleep tonight.

Western Canada is not as affected, but it definitely is happening in Europe. I think the biggest reason is most likely that Muslims tend to have large families, while most traditional western citizens are having less and less kids. With that, it doesn't take more than a couple of generations to make a serious impact on demographics.

Whether it's good or bad, is up for debate, but Europe is definitely trending towards it.

I wouldn't say it's scary, yet... But I do see a danger of a growing influx of people who aren't familiar with Western institutions such as British common law and plural government. Even talking to some of my Muslim friends, you can detect a sincere misunderstanding or even hostility to plural perspectives.

It's something which definitely has to be met with more education and integration of Muslim communities, before it reaches the point of ethnic or political conflict between Muslims and "integrated Canadians."

I think there is a general mistrust of muslims being perpetuated out there...no one says anything about the population of Asians in Vancouver for instance. Its not like a clash of civilizations has started here.

The Steyn/MacLean's issue with these three people does not have anything to do with your fabricated "Steyn-Lavant muslim conspiracy beliefs".

You are making things up because you dislike their political leanings. Both videos explain the problem quite clearly but you have turned off your brain, not listened and remained ingnorant.

The issue is about freedom speech and expression. Unfortunately, that went way over your head. How sad for you. Sleep tight.

RougeUnderoos, I really hope you take HOZ's message to heart. While you float through life in your state of blissful ignorance, there are great people like HOZ to take up the torch to protect you and the freedoms you so obviously take for granted.

The world is falling apart and all you can do is post your opinions and views on a messageboard. Clearly you have no understanding of freedom of speech or how seriously it is being sacrificed for Islam.
