Don't stress your pitching arm. Play at 10% tonight, so you can give 110% on Sunday.

No worries, I would never put my team in jeopardy! It would give me some batting practice.

I'd have said yes, but I have a course in June on fridays and saturdays. Craptacular.

Sorry mate, maybe I missed it. I only saw the two from the last roll call I requested.

So that would make three, possibly four. Anyone else?

What is the schedule (dates)? And how long is the drive to Lyalta?

Firefly, Which diamond is it?
I should be there close to 6:30, it all depends on the transit system.
Will the game be over around 8:00pm?

I don't really know what time we'll be done cause it's the first time I've played! 8-8:30 maybe. It's the NE diamond... so the one we practised at on Sunday.

I could be interested in the tourny pending more info...

Also team SW has their first injury of the season... Aeneas is out with a deadly lower body injury.

June 6 7 8. Doubt you would be given a game Friday night, expect 3 or 4 Saturday and at least one Sunday. Haven't got a schedule for it and won't until I can finalize who is and who is not coming out.

As for the drive, it is actually quite close. Go up to Country Hills Blvd, head east, cross Highway 9 and it is about five minute from there.

Broken glove again?

I think team SW is going to have to release him without pay, given he suffered the injury playing illegally for another team in violation of his contract.

I just need a pinch runner is all!

Just got back from a day with doctors and physios. What fun.

Batted 3 for 3 (though I got thrown out at 2 once trying to strech a single!), made a great slide into 2, and then made highlight reel "climbing the ladder" line drive catch way over my head at SS.

That was the good things, the bad thing is that I landed poorly on the great catch and that will likely be the full extent of highlights for me.

Torn MCL (bad), possibly torn ACL, patella sublexation (not sure I got that one right, kneecap is dislocted), meniscus damaged, and maybe some cartilage in the joint.

But how bout that catch.

So, I will surely be out for this Sunday, and likely till July some time.

Wow, sorry to hear about that. Let me know if you need any help.

Hopefully you can still provide support from the bench and at Pete's.

It was a great catch though. Looked very painful.

You will be missed on the team for sure

Sorry to hear about that Aeneas. At least you have a cool story about how it happened. A friend of mine blew an ACL dancing at Cowboys so... could be worse, ya know?
