Somehow the Raps are only down 13 at the half.
Leo and Chuck have gone on and on about how the Magic let teams back into games, so maybe the Raps can pull it off if they get a clue about D and leave Bargnani on the bench to start the second half

Has Ford ever heard of defence??
God he is horrible out there, getting owned every single posession, and no one is helping after he gets beat either.

Deep down inside, I want the Raps to win, but really for the betterment of the team, I want them to lose hard. Colangelo has done a fantastic job turning the franchise from shat to silver, but his Eurocentricism movement during the offseason went to his head and now the team's true colours are showing. Nobody on this team aside from Bosh and to a degree the PG combo (along with possibly Parker) are bonafide starters. If the Raps get spanked like this every game, Colangelo will probably realize you can't go with this goodguy/Euro approach. You need those bangers and a real second scoring option. The guys we have right now are almost all bench players.

I have no idea what Ford is doing out there.
Someone like Parker or Kapuno on the wing funnels his man towards the help (usually Bosh or Rasho), then the Orlando guy kicks it out to the person TJ is supposed to be covering - but for some reason TJ is out in the middle of no mans land and the guy gets a wide open 3 point shot. Stick with your man TJ, YOU aren't the damned help.

I don't think Mitchell is running the team properly. Love his enthusiasm, but I'm not sure of his technical ability. The Raptors "help" system tends to get exploited mercilessly by good teams, especially ones that love ball movement and can work the clock. The only teams it works on is usually dumb ones who have no idea how to work the clock.
Rasho needs to be a bigger part of the offense. He has shown a good amount of touch around the basket and for whatever reason vs. small teams without a real big man, they haven't wanted to pressure inside enough.
I think the team needs to add a bonified starter at the SF/SG position and they'd be set.

Smitch needs to go. He honestly seems like a good guy, but he's not what the Raps need.
Him and his "we just need to make more shaaaaats" interviews leave me wondering if he actually knows what goes on during the course of the game.
Offense is usually fine; it's the defensive system that needs a kick in the nads.

Couldn't agree more with everything. Mitchell's attitude has been perfect for this young team, but his strategies have been terribly off, and at times, too predictable. In fairness to him though, he doesn't have very many scoring options to go with (I'm beginning to sound like a broken record with this). I think Rasho has been great this year...in spurts though. I think that's more telling of his age though. He's quietly been a leader by example, but his diminishing abilities due to his age have been holding him back from having consistent performances. With regards to getting a bonified starter at the SF/SG position, I agree, but I think there's more to be desired. Considering Rasho will be 1 year older next year, the C is going to need help too. There really are 3 positions that need to be covered before this team really does anything. I really hope Mitchell plays Bargnani until he's bone tired. This team isn't going anywhere this year, and playing Bargnani will be good practice for the guy. Sitting him doesn't do anything for him as there are only marginal options to go to aside from him - ala Delfino. I still think this summer if the budget and smart managing allow for it, getting Mike Miller and Samuel Dalembert could work wonders for the team and they both wouldn't break the bank.

I hope whoever the Spurs meet in the next round kicks the crap out of them, and I hope the refs don't give the Spurs all the calls like they ALWAYS get vs Phx.
God I hate the Spurs so much.

At least the Jazz won't draw them next round should they advance. We'll see how they respond tonight though after blowing Game 3.

a) How bout them Sixers?? I hate Detroit and their cocky attitude, and it'll serve them right if they lose in the first round.
b) Are the Lakers that good, or are the Nuggets that terrible? I say it's the Nuggets. Not even close to winning a game in the series. Iverson has matured as a player, and a person: Watching the games, Carmelo Anthony is now the new Iverson. Far too selfish, taking contested shots early in the clock, and lazy on defense.
c) The Suns also blow. Shaq was a mistake. I used to love the Suns, and their up-tempo game. Now they only manage to get 2 fast-break points in a game. Talk about "losing your identity."

My hawks have turned it into a series. Joe Johnson and Josh Smith proving that they are 2 of the most underrated players in the league by themselves outscoring the celtics 32-17 in the 4th quarted to even the series at 2. Smith who has miraculously been left off Defensive player nominees had 7 blocks 2 steals.

Wouldn't it be such a fitting story if the Suns were to become the first team ever to come back from 3-0... and do it against the Spurs?
Oh man, that would be beautiful. I can't even put into words how much I hate the Spurs.
