Default Viva la Coldplay!

Heads up!

Coldplay is releasing the first single off their upcoming album tomorrow morning... as a free download off their website (www.coldplay.com).

The single is called Violet Hill, and the album (to be released in June) is called Viva la Vida (or Death and All His Friends).

I'm pretty stoked, I've really been looking forward to this one.

I'm allowed to listen to Coldplay, because I balance it out with Slayer, Korn and Pantera!

great the return of the most insipid and boring band out there today.

that this band is more popular then lets say radiohead is a crime in its self

Wow I'm surprised this thread lasted five posts before the CP music snobs started coming out of the woodwork.

You know how I know you're gay? Because you know about all the things that make people gay.

Music is such a personal thing, I just don't get why people get so upset if people like bands they don't like.

To each his own.

Because music snobs believe that the only way to feel good about themselves is to be critical of the bands they don't like. Most of them have bad parents.

Should be good, even if it's not Radiohead good.

They're also doing a free concert at MSG in New York and another one at the Brixton in the UK.

To be honest I actually like Coldplay a lot. Not on the same plain as Radiohead, but A big band to be sure. (full of that special British arrogance)

God Put a Smile Upon Your Face is a great song.
