Buy a Mexican Fender Stratocaster, you could get for around 300-400 dollars!

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

This looks like it might be somewhat decent in the price range...

I've actually got that same kit sitting in the basement and it hasn't been used in a while. 2 strings are broken but that isn't hard to fix. If you're interested shoot me a pm.

I like how he puts it:

"7. Fender Strat (I think this is known as a mexican strat). Beginners kit with case and small amp. I was hoping to learn how to play guitar but I have no talent whatsoever. $75"

Maybe it's because you bought a Squire strat and a tiny amp! (okay I kid, Squires are actually okay, it's all about the player - not the guitar, but it does when you're a beginner).

I don't know...I have a Squier strat, and while I'm pretty average as guitar players go my brother is excellent. He makes that thing sound amazing, even if there are much better guitars out there.

Fact is that even a cheap guitar that is tuned well can sound great and sound good enough for the beginner who wants to put in the time.

i started with a cheap guitar and it wasnt great.. i then bought a new mexi-strat and I couldn't believe the difference. A good guitar is easier to play, well its easier to make it sound good.
