They built something like that on Myth Busters one time. It was massive, but didn't work very well.

Oh yeah, they were trying to burn a boat! The myth that the warriors focused the sun off their shields and destroyed a ship.

I love that show, I want their jobs. With all the comedy and reality shows on TV, Mythbusters is the only show that makes me laugh till I cry.

Good find. The stories are pretty funny, especially about the army men.

Mythbusters is a good show and yeah, it would be fun to have those jobs if I knew anything about science and I didn't have two right hands. A guy I know works at the UofA and his job is to set up some of the experiments in the sciences and he uses that technical knowledge to build the coolest things, like a 10 foot-long potato cannon he uses to keep seagulls from hanging out on his boat rack.
