A win for the boys tonight, wish I could have seen it. 8-5 over the Rangers.
Litsch with the win, Overbay with a 3-run double. Wells went 3-for-5 with 2 RBIs.

Too bad this one's not on TV. Halladay with a 4 hit shutout through 8.

booooooo
They played a good game, was hoping that the Rangers would avoid the sweet. Well now that this series is over, I'll go back to wanting the Jays to do well, and sweep every AL West team but us.
Man being the only Rangers fan in Canada is odd . . . heck I think I'm the only Rangers fan outside of the Dallas-Fort Worth area, even then most of the people there are Astros fans.

A.J. Burnett still looks unsteady out there, but I'll take the win.

have you ever been to a game there? Beautiful ball park, I saw 3 there 3 years ago, loved it.

bottom of the 11th, Carlson came in with the bases loaded and no outs. He then proceeded to strike out 3 batters, still tied. Nice job!

Great bullpen management by Gibbons. Carlson is their last reliever, they better hope they can win this soon.

aw, crap. Burnett with a wild pitch, Texas wins this one as the Jays can't answer in the bottom of the 14th.

Same here. Did really well and like the commentators said, a nice delivery too. As for BJ, he really looked shakey up there. He lost a bit of weight too, and his fastball doesn't really look overpowering anymore. Going to be a long season if he can't finish games and if the Jays can't cash in with runners in scoring position.

Ryan's slower start is to be expected, he's not going to come out firing on all cylinders, he's going to need to get into shape.

Thomas no longer the designated DH.
While I agree with what Gibbons is doing, because Thomas' average is putrid, I can just see this turning into a problem in the dressing room. Especially with Thomas being angered by the decision, but really what does he expect when he hits .167.

Considering his option is activated by ABs... yeah, let the conspiracy theories start.
