I have never tired to Baconater but funny story

Back when the Baconater first came out a coupe of friends went to try it; both of them are pretty big eaters and figured they could finish the thing

Just in front of them the skinniest little teenage Goth kid order one as well, expect he doubled the meat!

That’s right 4 patties and 12 strips of bacon!!!

Neither of my friends could finish the regular one and this skinny Goth kid finished his in about a minutes and a half!

When we were in Hawaii a couple of weeks ago, my scrawny 10 year old son downed a Baconator, Medium Fries, and a Root Beer to the amazement of his uncle. I think the only reason he actually did make it through it was pure spite because his uncle told him he would never do it. He was pretty proud of himself, but if I had poked his stomach it would have been like one of those exploding pizza pop commercials.

Side Note: I can't get over how much larger the portions are at fast food joints in the US. The medium is our large, and it must take an entire Hutterite colony to fill an order of large fries.

So if I can get half of my daily iron intake from a baconator....then I should be eating 2 baconators a day?

870 calories and 56 grams of fat? Good Lord.

I eat fast-food so seldom that when I do eat it I really end up regretting it the next day.

Wendy's burgers are the worst.

Another vote for Harvey's.

wow . . . a quick glance at the mcdonalds nutrition page and I'm convinced that the big mac is actually a very healthy alternative to the baconator!

I'd also like to throw my hat into the "harveys burgers are the best" ring.

Well the power of suggestion worked on me. Went and grabbed one of these monsters at lunch.

Wow thats a lot of burger. Liked the jalapeno's on it, but man I am feeling bloated now.

I'm totally convinced places like Mackas and Wendy's are way healthier than somewhere like East Side Mario's though. I saw a show on it (60 minutes? Can't remember) and the calories/fat/sodium in some of the dishes at the big chain restaurants is OUTRAGEOUS.

For example....I'll take a spit roasted rotisserie chicken, and a side of fries. Maybe have some cheese sticks to start?

2150 calories, 140 grams of fat. mmmmmmmm

I'd like a Spicy Baconator without the bacon.. or in other words a Jalepeno melt

Wow, thanks for that. I had no idea restaurants were that unhealthy.

I did really like the Baconator, although I felt like a gigantic piece of a$$ for the rest of the afternoon.

2150 Cals??? Oh snap! That's like your daily intake right there. And what is that, like 200% of your daily fat?

You should have THREE, those nutritional things are kind of lowest common denominator - you have the wee people skewing the recommendations. I personally like to be sure I'm getting enough salt, grease and other preservatives that will give me a good chance of being reanimated from the grave with the minimum amount of trouble.

I feel like I need to try this thing now. It sounds so EPIC.

Edit: I found this while googling a pic of the baconator. Now this is epic:
