It was alright, not as scary as people say but then again the first one didnt really give me a scare either. For a sequal it was decent and I enjoyed it. What did you think of the 2nd movie compared to the first.
P.S. the new movie sin city looks really cool

I haven't seen it yet myself. But like you, the first one didn't scare me that much. Just wondering if you thought it was worth the price of addmission?

The first one didn't do much for me until the last scene when she crawled out of the T.V., I was watching it late at night with the GF of the moment, with the lights out, and it scared the crap out of us.
I've heard the second one is more about the jump factor as opposed to being scary, I'm probably going to wait until it comes out on Video.

For my friend it was the exact opposite. He found the movie creepy until the girl crawled out of the t.v. then his suspension of disbelief went out the window. He was like "that's f'n stupid, ghosts don't crawl out of t.v.'s!"
I think instead of seeing The Ring "twO" I will wait for DVD and just save my money to watch Sin City 35 times. I haven't been hearing this much positive early buzz on a movie since Return of the King.

Depends what theatre you go to for price of admission. I thought it was worth $11 considering the pop and popcorn cost just as much and was less satisfying. There was probably a few more added jumpy parts then the first one.

When I noticed that it was rated PG-13, I figured it wouldn't be that frightening. Not too many PG-13 movies are.

14a and PG13 are different rating for different countries....The US has the G, PG, PG13, and R......we have the G, PG, 14A, 18A and R.........The ring2 is pg13 in the states and 14a up here............lots of the time though, a R rated movie in the states is only 14a up here.......current example....Constantine.....Whenever u see a preview on TV and they have the rating, that is always the American rating

It's hard to explain hey? Whenever a dispute about ratings comes up, it's always about US vs Canadian ratings, but often one of the people has no clue that there is a distinction.
Haven't seen the ring twO, though. I haven't even seen the entire first one.
On a side note - when is Sin City coming out?

just came back from the Ring 2....I liked it, I thought it was a good sequel.....Im not one of those people who already judges a sequel as being bad before they see it, so I really liked it.........But if I were to compare the first with the second.....the first was better, so, if you didnt like the first, you wont like the second........
After seeing it, you will also never look at reindeer the same......
SAw the new full lenght trailer to War of the Worlds, that is gonna be insane!!!!

I saw that last Sunday with my girlfriend. Not a half bad movie, but certainly nothing special. There were a few parts that made me jump, but that was due more to the loud noise it made rather then it actually scaring me. Overall interesting movie, not as good as the first one and not what I would call scary. Anyone else notice those damn flashing "rings" in the top right corner during the movie?
