unfortunately, I don't see sleep happening. Although I didn't expect to be able to make it to my first class today, so that is a good thing...
I think I have it programmed somewhere in my mind to never make the minimum word/pages
12-15 pages = 11 full pages in my mind
5-7 pages = one paragraph on the 5th page.
I don't know why I do this to myself. I always get scared that the prof will dock me on it.
Also I don't plagiarize, although I am always scared that I forgot to cite somthing, or I did it wrong, and get caught on it.
anyone else?
|
I find most profs don't really care about length if you have a good paper. That one little page shouldn't hurt you any. I'm also paranoid about citing. History citing is definitely a bitch.

Yeah, no, I would agree. Got to pee into a cup with all my female class mates. When else would you get to do that? And I'm sure 363 was way easier than 463. But lab is now done. Now just the paper left to go.
This thread is like an old friend to me.

Currently in the process of writing an 8-page media journal, then it's onto a 5-7 page paper on said journal, all due Wednesday at 7. After that, two 500-word chapter exercises and an hour-long podcast for my DJ Culture class due on the 12th. After that, a 10-pager for my Film & Society class that I have yet to pick a thesis for, due the 14th. Exam the 15th, 22nd, 23rd. Then it's freedom!!

Jebus...I remember those days. Just one thing after the other. I'm getting to take it easy in the last couple weeks.

UGH you are so close Sainters!
I have 10 days of class left and the work load is still not getting any smaller.
I plan to spend at least 6-7 hours in the studio finishing a painting, then come home and work on an essay. ICK

Alright, 1 paper left. Who said 1 is the loneliest number? It's the happiest 1 in history.

I did the same thing Sunday. I'm saving double copies from now on.
Forget essays, 14 page assignments that take > 10 hrs...
Do you miss that too, Seb?

Yeah I have this program called file salvage which is apparently (for Macs) the only thing you can use to find older versions of saved files. I am so upset, but I'm running the program now *fingers crossed* and while I wait its on to the next essay.

So how'd it all work out chid? The fact that I see you're still posting, as opposed to having jumped off a bridge, tells me it probably worked out.
Why, oh why must I have a final exam tomorrow?? I'm totally gonna miss most of this game tonight. At least she's all done tomorrow. I'd rather miss game one than game 3 or 4(or 6 or 7)
...30 hours until freedom & counting...

Passed in a media journal and the paper about said journal at 4pm today (it's now almost 6). Next up is an hour-long podcast with 1000-word write-up and 2 chapter exercises due the 12th. But, I'm done for today. Gonna have some supper, watch some Heroes, and settle down for a wonderful game tonight! School assignments be damned; this is the PLAYOFFS!

Worked out okay, the program found 2 of the pages I wrote so I didn't have to start over entirely. Finished it all last night, now I have one more 10 pager and a few paintings and I'm FINI!
Takin' a break tonight to watch the game only to come home and start the paper and pull another all nighter.

Generally speaking, I spent far less time working on schoolwork at school than I currently do at work. And if I had to stay up to finish something, it didn't really matter if I didn't get out of bed in the morning.
At least your work is saving... some of my files got so big I had to save them in parts to keep MS Office happy, and even that didn't always work. (Disable quick save before it happens to you).

Haha last night to study for my final exam tomorrow, and of course I end up just watching the game and maybe studying for an hour. Finals and playoffs at the same time suck.
19 hours until I'm free!!!!

I used to save my papers to my computer and then also email a copy of them to my my yahoo.ca or hotmail account just in case something happened to my computer.
I also did this with my drafts.
That way it always exists somewhere in cyberspace and you can go in and delete them in the summer.
damn, I do remember these days though....
