Memphis takes out UCLA by 15 in the early tilt.

KU dominating Carolina through the first 10 minutes and lead 23-10. Jayhawks look way quicker and their defense is about 20X what UNC is showing. There will have to be a huge swing for Carolina to get back in this one.

10 minutes later and KU leads 38-12. What a performance. Hopefully this will shut up all the idiots on ESPN.com who don't think KU belonged in the final four because Davidson played them close.

Davidson is a good team.

Thing about davidson is that they played EVERYONE close all year for the most part...hell they lost to NC by 4 pts fer chrissakes. They were a terrific team this year.

What an "almost" comeback by NC though....I knew it wasnt over much like Calipari mentioned during his halftime interview...thank god KU ratcheted it back up in the last 7 minutes and won going away.

But now...I have to cheer for the Memphis squad....just a good story and Calipari is by far my favorite coach in sports.

Calipari? Ewwww. I despised UMass back in the day.

UNC has my favorite coach in all of sports. Pure class...clean as a whistle. Gracious, humble and brilliant. Roy Williams.

Everyone and their dog will be picking Memphis. Hope it's a good game.

I haven't watched KU as much as usual this season. Tonight was my first exposure to Cole Aldrich....holy crap was that kid something!

although my bracket had UCLA beating Carolina, I'm glad that its Kansas Memphis. ROCK CHALK JAAAAAAAYHAWK

This should be a good National Championship game.

Great guy yes....but I get INUNDATED with him around here being he is an Asheville native and UNC are EVERYTHING to this part of the world.

Makes me wanna puke. That being said I thought they were a cinch to win it all...but thats why this yournament is such a great event.

Sure sucks to have a playoff system in college sports though.

Nice, I so thought after filling out my bracket that me taking Kansas to beat UNC would come back to bite me in the ass.

Too bad UCLA couldnt come through, then my final wouldve been 100%. Memphis was the only team that I didnt pick to go to the Final Four.

If Kansas wins in the final I will finish in 4th! Amazing considering I only had one of the final four teams right. 4th would be the highest I've ever come in the Calgarypuck pool.

Well, very entertaining first half. KU by 5. What I see is that Kansas is waaaaaaay deeper. Kansas has better basketball players, Memphis has athletes. Memphis, in the offensive end, look like an NBA team...clear out and let someone go 1 on 1. Problem is, they are facing the best defensive team they have played all year.

Should be a great second half.

If you are a basketball fan and you missed this you should slap yourself. KU comes back from down 9 under 2 minutes to go to tie it up and send it to OT!

Chalmers was money the entire game...on both ends of the court. The Derrick Rose love in on CBS was getting sickening, so I'm doubly glad Kansas won. Great player to be sure, but they just forgot about the rest of the players for about 10 minutes during the commentary...ugh.

Yeah, I moved from like 14th to 3rd. I would've had 2nd if it would've been UCLA instead of Memphis. You won the damn thing on Saturday!

I'd say a little bit of both. Kansas hitting that clutch three with 2 seconds to play was incredible. But they shouldn't have even been in that situation if Memphis could just make a damn foul shot.
