You're not just paying for an extra outlet, you're paying for a box/month (unless you buy it outright) too. $15/month probably. But dude, go get bell.

First of all, he doesn't need a box for every tv... at least not until the all digital ruling is in effect quite a while from now. I'm sure he knows he'll need a box for HDTV though. As well, it's my understanding extra boxes are only $5/mth on your bill. Why go to bell exactly? With bell, he would absolutely need boxes no?

I thought it was only 2 bucks, but it was awhile ago so I'm not sure, but I wasn't even aware it cost anything extra at first. I got an extra one for free and just hooked it up, it wasn't until I got an HD box that they told me it would be an extra whatever to hook the one being replaced as well. All you have to do is plug it in.

Unless you are talking about an outlet in the wall. If so you could just get a splitter or whatever and do it yourself if that's the case.

This is right from thier website.

"Customers adding more than one Shaw Digital Terminal or Shaw High-Definition Terminal to their Shaw Digital Television services will be charged a $1.99 system fee for each additional DCT."

You can add the outlet yourself if you are so inclined.

Shaw doesn't know how many outlets you have in your house.

AS stated above they do charge you for extra terminals on your account.

I have two DCT's on my shaw account but 4 tv's in the house.

The other two only have basic cable.
