Can someone explain to me what a viet sub is? I see them all over and I eat at vietnamese joints fairly often but I've never had a sub. Are they different than normal subs? Has anyone tried the place in Deerfoot Meadows by the Fat Burger? Uh oh, now I crave a milkshake from Fat Burger.

It's a baguette with cheese, butter, your choice of carrots/cucumber/onion/peppers/cilantro, and satay chicken or beef (which is basically just meat in soy sauce). Nothing crazy, but very tasty

A plate of nachos (maybe those nachos that come in 3 colors) with extra cheese, tomatoes, olives, jalapeņos and green onions. For my dipping desire, I'd like some sour cream and mild salsa.
Oh yum....

I usually just get the assorted cold cut sub. No cheese. Bread is also slathered with mayonaise and pate, btw. Those carrots are also the greatest things ever, who thought a little sugar and vinegar could make carrots taste so goood.
New craving for the moment: Pirogies. I gotta stop reading this stupid avenue mag, it's making me hungry.

So do they have good subs or do you just tolerate the food so that you can tell the rest of the office that you got your lunch from a tittie?
As for me, a gigantic greek salad sounds great right now.

Dude, it's soooo good.
Basically, slow cooked pork bones with meat still on the bone. The serving comes in a bowl as the picture shows, with normally 3 or 4 pork bones sitting in the soup base along with some kim chi and potatoes. Served with white rice and the usual Korean side dishes. The meat is cooked for so long it just falls right off the bone!
