ALL ABOARD!

Back on topic: The service at Flames Central is terrible. Either the place is too big for the number of staff they have or they've fallen under the labour crunch and have to hire anyone that applies. Probably a combination of both.
The atmosphere can't be beat but if I don't have another pint on the way before my current one is empty I'm not a happy man.

Last year it was a $4000 minimum tab to get the suite right above their Master Control Centre.

Yep, totally agree, I thought it was brutal, just dreadful. Although, my first night there, one of the servers helped us get a great seat on the floor. That was really cool of her and she wasn't even our server.

I hate to add to the derailment, but you all know that I can't keep mum on a car topic.
I agree with VAN. I just finished following a white Subaru down 16th for a few blocks thinking to myself 'wash your car, buddy. It's only a few bucks now that'll come back to haunt you later when you need a new paint job'.
Looked like he hadn't washed his car all winter. And the fingerprints from closing his hatch just scream white trash.
Besides, we need the moisture and we all know that any time you wash your car, it rains or snows the next day. So lets band together and kill the fire ban by washing our cars.

I went to Flames Central to watch the Flames play the Wild, Avs and Nucks games(I went to the Flames and Avs last Thurs) and I had a great time each time I went. The place was packed, the atmosphere was wicked and I have never been to a place like that before. Service kinda lacked, and the food was meh, but in terms of watching a game, the place is second to none.
Also, on Monday night, I won a 100 GC during the intermission for Flames trivia, so that was cool.
But a big thumbs up for me for Flames Central. The goal horn after each Flames goals is awesome and really pumps you up.

I think you were up against my brother for that thing. He says you cheated and won unfairly. He's also a lying drunk though so who knows? His strategy was to cheat but I guess you out-cheated him.

We did a company function for a Tuesday night Flames vs Coyotes. Total tab was less than $2000 for 30 people with healthy supply of decent appy type food (the mini-surloin cheese burgers were awesome) and three drink tickets each.
I think because it was a mid-week game they waved the room charge, but enforced the minimum spend. We got the suite right above the control center that had the bar. Neither of the suites on the side were booked.
It was as good of company event that I have been too in those sorts of forums.

We're sorry the rain doesn't wash our cars for us like in Vancouver... every day... for the entire winter...

No, no, no. The tiebreaking question was name the last Flames besides Iggy to lead the team in scoring. I said Val Bure and the host didn't hear me properly. Then your brother said Val Bure and the host was about to congratulate him, but I had to jump in and plead my case. Also, when I was up 2-0 on him, the question was name the 4 American Flames, I said Moss, Nystrom and Conroy, your brother says Hale and he gets the point?? What the hell is that???
