Good. My neighbours have a little bonfire thing in our cul de sac every weekend and they haven't invited us yet.

I would especially recommend against hunting for gophers with propane devices.

Ok... I'm getting edgy here. I hope we have a wet spring. Camping sucks when you can't have a fire.

So how far out does this ban extend? I am in RockyView, so will Rockyview issue its own bans or does this one have a range outside city limits?

Not that I plan on running out and starting a fire in my yard or anything, just curious in case I want to go out at some later date and use the firepit.

Rockyview has had this ban since the 12th

This does suck indeed. I might buy another BBQ to go with the charcoal...but I am not sure how my wife would take that!

Fines are brutal for this too...$1000 for just ignoring the ban and/or $5000 for failing to extinguish the fire when directed to do so by CFD or a peace officer.

Hope you don't mind, I fixed your post. I for one am right there with you about getting edgy. Summers with fire bans are the worst. Does anybody know if this summer is supposed to be a dry one?

Anyone know the status up in Edmonton? If there's fire bans there, and Edmonton makes the playoffs... How will they celebrate wins and losses without being able to burn down their town?
