What accent do you have?
http://www.youthink.com/quiz.cfm?act...take_again=yes
It's lamely called "What American accent do you have?" (and then it shows you a regional map) but it actually told me my accent was Canadian. Call me pleasantly surprised.
Post the maps too.

I got Canadian.
People from outside North America probably think you`re from the States, but over here we wouldn`t make such a mistake.

Canadian for me too, cool little quiz!
...although I disagree with the entire Canadian map from BC to Quebec having the same accent according to the map. When I was in Montreal, a girl totally pegged me from being from the West. Actually she told me I kinda sounded like the Royal Canadian Air Farce character "Mike from Canmore", which I suppose is a burn...

You have a Northern accent. That could either be the Chicago/Detroit/Cleveland/Buffalo accent (easily recognizable) or the Western New England accent that news networks go for.
It's wrong. I don't sound like I'm from CHEECAAAGO.

What people call the "Minnesota accent." Sounds almost Canadian. You may have even been asked if you were from Canada before.

What American accent do you have? (Best version so far)
Neutral
You`re not Northern, Southern, or Western, you`re just plain -American-. Your national identity is more important than your local identity, because you don`t really have a local identity. You might be from the region in that map, which is defined by this kind of accent, but you could easily not be. Or maybe you just moved around a lot growing up.

Which makes sense considering I grew up about just on the other side of Lake of the Woods (borders on Minnesota) and spent many a summer in Minnesota.
I didn't realize there was a separate accent though.

Umm, Quebec isn't included in the map (the yellow shaded areas). Quebec is separate and so are the maritimes.
